"Ahhh, you gotta be fucking kidding me!!!" Jungkook screamed as soon as he and Yoongi got inside the Chief Guide's office. "Fuck, fuck!! Why the fuck did I even say that, hyung?!!!"
"Jungkook, will you please calm down?!" Yoongi said, as he could already see the furniture inside his office shaking uncontrollably. "Please don't ruin my office!"
Jungkook then took a deep breath and said, "Okay. Okay.. Now hyung, what the hell should I do now?! I was supposed to ask him out, but I totally ruined my chances now!! It was because of what I initially said that he's just an exclusive Guide to me!! I'm doomed because of that!!!
Aghhh!! Why was it so fucking hard to say what I really want to say?!! I've never been like this!! I always just say what I want to say! The fuck is wrong with me?!!"
Yoongi let out a deep sigh and said, "Just pause for a bit and think clearly. Take it like you're in your training - you have to meditate and let out what's inside you so you can release the right amount of power you need to defeat an opponent.
That's just how it's like - just think clearly of what to say so that you can tell Guide Seokjin of what you really feel. I think there's just one thing that's been holding you back."
"Huh. What is it?" Jungkook asked as he calmed down.
"You're afraid to get rejected, is that it? You doubt his feelings."
Jungkook then took a seat on one of the chairs in front of Yoongi's desk. Then he said, "I don't know. Maybe. And maybe I'm doubting myself too. I don't know if I'm good enough for Guide Seokjin.
I mean, I know I'm the strongest in the country. Many people rely on me and my strength. But Guide Seokjin- when I'm with him, it's different. He is different."
Yoongi then sat across Jungkook as the latter paused from speaking. It took a while before he spoke again.
"With Guide Seokjin, it feels like I'm the one relying on him. That only him can protect me and everyone else from myself.
That's why I'm always doubting if I can be that someone who will make him happy. He didn't want this responsibility of being my exclusive Guide from the beginning.
What if Jimin is right - what if Guide Seokjin will enjoy his life more with a normal citizen like that bastard of a policeman?! Rather than being pinned onto an Esper like me..
There are a lot of things to be considered, hyung. I don't even know what to do anymore.."
Yoongi watched as Jungkook turned serious and sad. He understood what the Esper might be feeling as he's someone who knew about Jungkook's early days and witnessed his hardships.
He was an Esper who experienced nothing but fighting monsters and learning about powers and weapons. Therefore, understanding even his own feelings was difficult for him, more so expressing them loudly and well.
So Yoongi tapped Jungkook's shoulder and asked, "Hey, Jungkookie.. why don't you try and go back to when you spent time with Guide Seokjin? How was he with you? Was he happy? Was he comfortable?
When you two went to your personal dungeon alone - did he like it? The things you did together, do you think they gave him the happiness he's always wanted?"
Jungkook's eyes went wide as he tried to recall these moments. He did not even have to say one word before Yoongi already found the words to say.
"So-- claim what's yours, Esper Jeon.. you don't need to fear. If you think Guide Seokjin gave himself to you fully because it is what'll make him happy, then he's already yours. So claim him.."
