As I'm lost in thought, I hear the sound of slow footsteps approaching, catching my attention. Recognizing who they belonged to, I sigh quietly, once they stop a few feet away. "So...you're all better now.." I say, my grip tightening on the bowl of water. "It would seem so.." Elijah says quietly, before walking further into the room. I nod silently, lowering my head in sadness. "Good...Hayley was worried.." I say quietly. "Just Hayley..?" He asks. Hearing this, my eyes widen slightly, before averting my gaze. "Of course not.." I say barely above a whisper, lowering my head. After a few moments of silence, I clear my throat awkwardly. "Well, I...guess that means you won't be needing this anymore.." I say, looking at the bowl in my hands. "Raelyn.." he says quietly. Although I hear my name, I pretend not to, and lift the bowl into my arms. "I'll get rid of it.." I say, turning towards him, while avoiding eye contact, and quickly attempt to leave the room. Unfortunately, just as I'm about to pass by him, he gently catches my forearm, quickly stopping me. My head snaps towards him, automatically making me meet his gaze.
