Hearing this, he sighs, smiling and chuckling in amusement, before he shakes his head, looking back to me. "Yes, I...suppose your worries were not completely invalid.." he admits to me quietly. "Mhm.." I mumble, while looking him up and down, earning another amused chuckle from him, as I walk further in, before turning back around, about to say something else. However, upon seeing him take off his jacket, and start unbuttoning his bloody shirt, my eyes widen, and I immediately turn away again, to give him some privacy, since he was in the way of the door. It's fine, it's nothing you haven't seen before..

Even as I think this, images from before, immediately rise up in my mind, making my eyes widen even further. But even so.. I think to myself, pushing away those images, before deciding to focus on a random spot of discoloration on the wall, to distract myself from the current predicament I was in. Just don't think about it.. "Apologies, Raelyn, but could you help me a moment..?" Elijah asks calmly, snapping me out of my thoughts, making my eyes widen again, as I freeze up. Hearing this, I slowly peek over my shoulder, towards him. "What's wrong..?" I ask. "The blood on my hands is making these last few buttons slide out of my grasp." He explains, turning towards me, revealing more than half of his chest was exposed. I'm silent at this for a few moments, as I process what my eyes are currently seeing for a few seconds.
