The violent shaking and rumbling had stopped a few moments ago, making everyone in the estate look around in confusion. Marcel had immediately gone back into Davina's room, to check on her, only to come back out a few moments later, to tell us she lost consciousness. With the earthquake gone, we all split up, and left to check the damage. After cleaning up a couple of the surrounding rooms, I hear Elijah and Hayley's voices outside the room I was in, prompting me to seek them out. "Yeah, well, I don't wanna keep anything from you either, and if you're going out to see Sophie, then there's something that you need to know.." She says. "Everything okay you two..?" I ask, walking up to them. Seeing me walk up to their sides, Hayley looks between him and I, before giving an apologetic look to both of us, and continuing. "Sophie called me and asked for a favor.." she says, making both of our brows furrow. Sophie...isn't that the Witch who tried using her and the baby against Klaus..? As I think this, she turns to walk, while she continues speaking. "She promised me that she would help break the curse that Marcel put on my people, in exchange for some information. At first, I didn't think anything of it, but then Davina started drawing those pictures of Celeste an--" Elijah cuts her off. "Hayley, whatever this is, you have to tell me." He says, stopping her movements, and her rambling immediately.
She stops and goes quiet, before she looks between him and I again, giving us both another apologetic look, before she sighs in defeat, and slowly walks towards us. "Sophie wanted to find Celeste's remains.." she admits quietly, making Elijah's eyes widen slightly in shock. She wanted Celeste's remains..? For what..? And why is she looking at us like that..? As I think this, my brows furrow in confusion. Not only that, but, after the stunt the Witches tried pulling, why would she even associate with that woman..? Many questions swim through my mind, but I remain silent. Am I...missing something..? As I think this, I look between Hayley and Elijah. Sighing again, Hayley continues. "So, I...went through your old journals...and found out where you buried her...and then I told her.." she finishes, looking to Elijah, before lowering her head in shame. Hearing this, Elijah's eyes widen further, while he looks away in disbelief, clearly feeling betrayed. Seeing his reaction, even more guilt fills her expression, and she speaks again. "I know, it was stupid, and it was snoopy, and I...should've just asked you.." she says, clearly upset at herself. Elijah remains silent.

After a few seconds, she speaks again. "Please say something. Please.." she says, her voice trembling, as if she was on the verge of tears. Elijah scoffs quietly, before sighing, and shaking his head. "She wanted to be left in peace. When a Witch's remains are consecrated, that power fuels the rest of their community. Celeste, did not want her remains to be found. She made me promise to bury her where she would not be found.." he says, before continuing. "You not only violated my privacy, you have broken my promise to her.." he says. Hayley's silent at this, before speaking. "I thought they were just bones, Elijah.." she says quietly. He shakes his head slightly. "If you truly believed that, you would've asked me where to find her instead.." He says. She goes silent once again. Seeing she wouldn't reply, he shakes his head, sighs, and walks away. Elijah.. Concerned, I look back and forth between Hayley and the back of Elijah's retreating form a few times in silence, unsure what to do. He was really upset...should I go after him or...let him be..? As I struggle to decide, I remember Klaus' words about Celeste earlier. Celeste was the love of his life.. I think to myself, before making a decision. I have to check on him.. Mind made up, I sigh, and shake my head, before looking back to Hayley.
