Death, Betrayal, and finding Love where she had least expected. It'd be an understatement, to say Raelyn's life had not been easy..
After a tough decision having been made, Raelyn finds herself in New Orleans four and a half months later. There, she...
As I'm turning down the hall towards my room, I sigh, shake my head, and speak. "For the last time, Rebekah, no." I say annoyed. "Why not?" She asks just as annoyed. Sighing, I stop, and turn towards her. "Look, Rebekah, I wish I could help, but Klaus has made it very clear that I have to stay with Hayley. Especially now, since all that Witchy power vanished into thin air." I explain, crossing my arms over my chest, and rolling my eyes, as another thought comes to mind. "Not to mention, certain individuals have made it very clear that they want me to stay as far away from those particular Witches, as possible.." I continue. "And I don't know about you, but unless I absolutely have no other choice but to get involved, I'm gonna listen to them." I finish. "Don't you mean 'Him'..?" She asks, crossing her arms over her chest as well. Sighing in defeat, I roll my eyes, and place a hand to my forehead. "Look, Rebekah, I'm not sure how you found out about us, but do you think you could maybe tone it down a notch? I get it, you know things about Him and I. No need to keep rubbing it in, especially when there's nothing going on between us anymore." I say, just before my phone rings, catching my attention.
Sighing, I pull it out, looking at the caller ID. Seeing Elijah's name, I chance a glance towards her. She looks at the screen, before she gives me the 'really' look, before looking me up and down. "Aren't you going to answer that..?" She asks. Looking back and forth between her and my phone a few times, I finally sigh, and curse under my breath, before answering. "Elijah." I say. "Is my sister with you, by chance..?" He asks. Looking to her, I speak. "She is." I say. "Let me guess, she's attempting to convince you to go on a Witch Hunt with her to find the power that went missing.." he says. "Yeah, yeah she is." I say. "I also assume you told her no?" He asks. "Several times, actually. Though I'm starting to think she might be deaf, considering she keeps asking, no matter how many times I say it." I say, eyeing her, earning an eye roll. He sighs and speaks. "Put me on speaker, I'll take care of it." He says. "Be my guest.." I say, before taking the phone from my ear, and hitting the speaker button. "Go ahead." I say. "Rebekah, allow me to remind you that the only reason Raelyn is here with us, is because she wishes to protect Hayley and the baby." Elijah says.
Hearing this, Rebekah looks over my expression carefully. "Right, because that's the 'Only Reason' you'd risk coming back, right Rae..?" she asks sarcastically, clearly not convinced, earning a soft glare from me. For a few moments, it's silent until Elijah sighs once again and speaks. "Raelyn is not a pawn to be used at will, Rebekah. She will remain at Hayley's side until Hayley herself asks otherwise. Please understand that." He says sternly, breaking the silence. Hearing this, she rolls her eyes, crossing her arms over her chest. "Fine, I'll just have to find the magic thief myself." She says, before turning her back to us, and walking towards the staircase. However, just as she reaches it, she stops, and turns towards us again. "But like I told him and Nik, that much power doesn't just vanish without a trace. Someone stole it. So, when that person shows themselves, and uses that power against us; I do hope you'll be ready for it." Is all she says, before going down the stairs, and walking out the front door.
