Joselyn remembers sitting on her bed when there was a knock on the door. Roxie came in, holding out a letter.
"It's for you," She said, holding it out. "Don't know how it got here, but it did."
Joselyn took the folded paper.
From: Jason Todd
To: Joselyn Todd"It's from Jason," Roxie went on. "Yeah, I see that," Joselyn said, waving a dismissive hand. Roxie soon left the room. The younger girl slowly unfolded the letter. Just what did her estranged brother have to say to her?
Joselyn,
Hey, Jos. Can I still call you that? Actually, Jos should be fine. I think I just can't call you Jojo anymore. Anyway, I know you don't like me, I know you don't want to talk to me, but something I feel you should know is Catherine isn't our mother. Our real mother is named Sheila Haywood. I just thought you'd like to know that. I love you and if you ever want to talk, you know where to find me.
-Jason
Joselyn then folded the letter again. She contemplated ripping it up then and there. She wasn't sure how to feel, in all honesty. Sheila, Catherine, did it really fucking matter anymore?
She just held it in her hands for a few minutes before placing it atop her dresser. A few minutes later, she left her room, going into the kitchen, where Roxie was.
"What did the letter say?" Roxie asked.
Joselyn shook her head, as she searched for her bag of chips. "Nothing important."
