This particular evening, Georgie was alone in the apartment. She'd made some waffles, because who the fuck cares that it was seven in the afternoon? Not Georgie. She was sitting in front of the TV, rewatching Monty Python and the Holy Grail, when she heard a knock at the door.
Must be those shoes she ordered.
When she went over to the door, and, instead of being greeted by a package, she was greeted by a certain redhead; Rachel Stark.
"Hi."
"Hey, Rachel," The blonde looked into the hall, looking for some semblance of a guardian.
"I ran away again."
Georgie looked at the redhead and sighed. "Come on in, kid." She gestured inside the apartment and Rachel stepped inside. "Are you hungry?" The blonde asked as the redhead made her way into the kitchen. "I am, actually, yeah." She replied.
"Any allergies?" Georgie asked, stepping into the kitchen.
"No."
"Alright, uh-" She perused the cabinets for a snack before grabbing a plastic wrapped chocolate chip cookie. "You want this?"
Rachel nodded, taking the cookie and promptly opening it. She sat on the floor next to the coffee table and Georgie followed, sitting across from her. "So," She started. "Do you wanna tell me why you ran away this time?"
Rachel shrugged. "I dunno. I just felt like it this time." She replied with her mouth full. "And, y'know, Rory was being annoying."
"Right, Rory. I know a bit about her. How was she being annoying?"
Rachel paused. "She was just being annoying." She muttered.
"Did she say something? Do something? What?"
"...No."
Georgie blinked then sighed. "I know you don't like Rory, but she doesn't seem all that unpleasant," The blonde said. "Now, I'll be the first to admit, I'm probably a little biased because her mom helped save me and all that stuff, but, I think your disliking of her is a little unwarranted."
Rachel crossed her arms. "I'm not answering that."
Georgie sighed again. "Okay then, Ellie." She said in a teasing tone. She'd told Rachel about Ellie plenty of times before and their similarities.
Rachel lightly pushed Georgie. "Shut up."
