Dear Britney,
Before I die, I want to leave a note for you special. You deserve one. You sorta know me. I'm Geojulie Bordio. I'm your mother and I'm the one who left you outside the Gressi home. I expected one of them to take care of you, but I guess Candy is the next best thing.
I know the way I worded that sounds a little ungrateful. I don't mean to sound ungrateful, it just wasn't what I expected. But I can't be more grateful that Candy took care of you. I also like the middle name that was picked out for you. I think Shelley is very pretty and I know exactly who its after. Britney Shelley Mitchell has a nice ring to it. Sounds like you were born in the 60s or 70s.
I went through a few middle names the week I took care of you, one set being Catlyn Veronica and another Catlyn Dangria. I didn't give them to you though, because I didn't want to get too attached to you. Also, I feel like they would have easily lead back to me. That's why I chose the name Britney. It's a name I liked but it's just commonplace enough. I didn't want to get too attached to you.
I wanted to keep you, I swear I did. I never felt sick looking at you, because thankfully you look nothing like your father. Your father is Eddie Sollet, who, if you want to know anything about him, I'd recommend just asking candy for the run down.
I didn't want to just give you up for adoption, just leave you scattered to the winds, so that's why I left you with the Gressi's, cause I knew I could trust them. And then they gave you to Candy, which, I'm not mad about.
I gave birth to you in an alleyway with the help of a kind homeless woman, which I've always found a little funny whenever I think back on it. The illustrious, glamorous, child star, Geojulie Bordio gave birth in an alleyway when she was thirteen.
After that, I kept you for a week, living in a homeless shelter under a fake name. It was the shitty kind, too. Just enough to get by kind of place. And then I hastily scrawled a note, got a box and a blanket, and I left you outside the Gressi home.
I stayed in Brookina another few days before I went home. Not a day has gone by where I don't think about you. I always asked about you when Jadey came over. Not for any reason, I was just curious about the abandoned baby.
I love you, Britney. This is everything I've wanted to tell you, and if there was something I forgot, it won't matter, cause I'll be dead by the time you read this.
I love you, Britney.
Your mother, Geojulie Handilene Octavia Bordio
