Y/n pov:

Dear diary,
The sunrise this morning is stunning. It is more pink and purple than orange today. I have been drawing some of the birds I have seen flying over the glade. I love sitting here. Up in the tree surveying the glade. It gives me a sense of calm. The sunrises remind me of Newt. I hate to admit it but I can't deny it. It's almost like when I look into the sky I see his face and perfect golden locks. Oh what I would do for him.
Y/n

I was sitting in the tree this morning when I heard a twig snap below me. Shit. Someone was awake and watching me. I threw my hoodie on over my tank top. I was terrified they had seen my arms. Did they know what I was doing now? I clambered down as quickly as I could and sped after them trying to identify them. When I finally reached the hammocks, everyone was there sleeping. Huh.

Newt's pov:

I decided to follow Y/n again this morning. I couldn't quite figure out why she was waking up this early every morning but I was going to find out. Today she was wearing a brown tank top and black leggings. Finally she was wearing something sensible. The heat had been rising as we started to enter summer and in the glade summers were extremely hot. She was carrying a grey hoodie. It was not as though she would need a hoodie so I was curious why she had it.
She sat up in the tree as usual drawing and watching the sunrise. Why wasn't she sleeping? It puzzled me. At best she had had 4 hours sleep and we both knew that was not enough. I waited for her to come down but like yesterday she didn't. I was about to leave, when I stepped on a twig and it snapped. Her head turned in my direction. Shit. I ran as fast as i could back to my hammock and pretended to sleep. About a minute later she appeared at the hammocks. She stopped. Phew she hadn't noticed it was me. I opened my eyes slightly to check if she was gone and then I noticed. She was wearing her hoodie. Why was she wearing it? If anything running would make you more hot and putting it on would only have slowed her down. Something wasn't right. I wasn't quite sure what though.

Y/n's pov:

I sat down for breakfast. I was scanning the room for any abnormalities in hopes of finding the person. Nothing. I found nothing. I continued to eat my breakfast. It was scrambled eggs. They were alright but they could use a little salt.
I headed to work. It was a usual work day but even hotter than yesterday. I was practically melting but I pushed through. I don't want anyone to know.
I was patching up a slicer and some blood splattered onto my hoodie.
"Shit!" I exclaimed.
I finished bandaging their hand and went to my hut to change.
"I'll only be a minute!" I shouted to Jeff before leaving.
"No worries! Take your time!" He shouted back.
I entered my hut and slipped off my hoodie. I walked over to my wardrobe to grab another, when a note fell out of it. I picked it up. The words read 'such slutty leggings. You are practically asking for it'. I crumbled to the floor. I stared at my now bare arms. I grabbed my dagger out of my belt and started cutting again. Blood dripped down the side and I wiped it off. I pulled my hoodie on and slipped some sweatpants over my leggings. Teary eyed I walked over to the medjacks' hut and continued work. It was a slow morning with few injuries. Just as I was about to head to lunch, Newt walked in.
"What have you done now?" I asked. He seemed to visit daily.
"Same as always accidentally cut my hand."
I sat him down and started the normal treatment.
"Oh Y/n, look there's blood on you hoodie." He said.
I looked own at my extremely sweaty but also somehow bloody hoodie.
How is that possible? I hadn't dealt with any blood since I changed my hoodie. Then I realised. It was from where I had sl!t my wrist.
"Oh it must have been from someone's injury." I said trying to change the topic.
"But nobody has cut themselves today. Well not after you changed it." He said.
"How do you know about me changing my hoodie?" I asked confused.
"Firstly I sit with you at every meal and that is not the hoodie you were wearing at breakfast, and secondly I came to ask you a question but you weren't here. Jeff said you were changing your hoodie." He replied.
"Oh" I said back. I didn't say anymore in hopes he would forget his question.
"Y/n?"
"Yeah?"
"Why is there blood on your hoodie?"
I stood there silently.
"Y/n?" He persisted.
"All done you can leave now." I said hurriedly trying to get him out the door.
"Y/n. I am not leaving until you explain the blood on your hoodie. Roll up your sleeves."
"No!" I shouted before covering my mouth. "I mean um, I'm fine don't worry."
Roll up my sleeves? Oh it's so easy for everyone to just roll up their sleeves. No! I am not going to just let him see that. I can't. I turned my head away.
"Y/n." He said almost angrily. "Roll up your sleeves.
I turned my head back to him with tears in my eyes. He held my hand in his stoking it gently. Please. Why does this just have to happen to me?
I felt his other hand gently slide my hoodie sleeve up my arm. I started crying, tears pouring from my eyes as I fell to my knees. I shut my eyes as the tears fell. I felt a warm embrace engulf me as I sat on the floor. I yanked the sleeve of my hoodie down over my cuts. I just sat there crying in his warm embrace. I didn't know what was going to happen after, and I didn't want to.
I opened my eyes. He sat beside me looking down.
"Why love? Why?" He said shakily.
"I...i um, I kept getting these notes."
"What kind of notes?" He asked his fury rising.
I took the 3 of them out of my pocket and handed them to him sobbing.
"They are right you know. I should stop eating as much as I do. No one will ever love me if I am fat." I said.
"YOU DID NOT JUST SAY THAT!" He yelled.
"YOU ARE THE MOST BEAUTIFUL PERSON TO EVER EXIST. NOBODY GIVES A SHIT HOW MUCH YOU WEIGH. YOU ARE PERFECT." He shouted protectively.
"WELL SOMEONE DOES! SOMEONE DOES CARE! AND I'M SICK OF BEING HERE. BEING ALIVE!" I shouted back. I couldn't take it anymore. I ran as fast as I could toward the maze.
I ran for a few minutes before reaching a wall with ivy that stretched from top to bottom. I could hear voices behind me but they grew quieter the more I ran. I climbed up the wall. I stood at the top. I couldn't see much but more walls. I could see the glade from where I was though. I took one last look at it before whispering "Goodbye world".
And then I jumped.

- Author's note
Heyyyyyyy!!! How are you today? This chapter took so much out of me to write. It was like I was experiencing it with Y/n. I hope the suspense of the next chapter isn't too much. Hope you have a good day/night!
