Part 28 - Wicked is good

- Minho's pov:

"My name is doctor Ava Paige and I am the head of the World Catastrophe Kill-zone Department. You have now accessed the key to escape the maze trials. Now to find this key, I assume something bad has happened to Y/n.
I have deliberately planted these devices within her so that when she wakes up, she will remember everything.
You may be wondering why I decided to plant the 'key' in Y/n. This is because she is my daughter. After regaining her memories, she will remember how to escape as I have already told her.
I have one other child.
Josh.
Josh and Y/n are twins but neither of them know it, well until Y/n wakes up. She must not tell him that they are siblings or you won't be able to escape. You see Josh holds the other key but not the same way Y/n does. He holds the mental key which you will need when you get to the final door. If he knows about Y/n, you wont be able to leave.

I know that this is a lot to take in but just know that we will be waiting on the other side to help you once you make it through.

Me, Alby, Clint and Jeff all stood there, jaws dropped. The blonde lady disappeared from the screen. We all turned to look at each other.
"What the fuck." I said.

- Teresa's pov:

Newt and I were working in the gardens after his visit to the Medjacks'.
He looked like the whole Y/n situation was plaguing his mind. The way he worried about her was just so pathetic. I hated Newt. I had ever since I came up. You might be thinking. Why? What did he do to you? Well you see I never lost my memory. I know everything about everything. I was sent up here to break apart Newt and Y/n. See Y/n is Ava's daughter and she hates Y/n. She has throughout her entire childhood. However Ava loved me. She looked after me like I was her real daughter and left Y/n in the dark. Y/n had always been weak. When she found out that Y/n and Newt were dating she was very angry and immediately wanted them to break up.
It was already nearing the point at which they were supposed to escape, so she sent me up to initiate the escape. Since the video she had hidden was in Y/n's wrists, I was sent to make sure they accessed it. Newt was just a pawn in my little game. Thomas and I had been dating for months before the maze and when I was told he wouldn't remember I lashed out. So, Ava decided to leave him half of his memories. Newt doesn't know that while I look like the perfect lover to him, really I am sneaking off with Thomas anytime I can.
Although I hate Newt, he is very easy to play. He trusts everyone very easily so it was very simple to act innocent toward him and throw Y/n under the bus. The gullible shank he is, believed me. I mean even if i didn't hate him, who trusts someone they have just met over their girlfriend of two months?

I put on my innocent girl act once again and started talking.
"Hey Newtie, meet me in the dead heads after dinner. I have something to show you." I said smiling up at him.
"Ok love" He said a smile returning to his face.

- time skip -

We were eating dinner and talking as usual. Minho had been awfully quiet this meal but I didn't care. I hated every single person here. After dinner I headed off to the dead heads and waited for Newt. This was the best part of my plan. Me and newt weren't an official couple but everyone knew we were in love. I watched him walk through the trees, looking for me. His eyes met mine and I held out my hand. He placed his larger hand around my smaller one, and I led him toward the small lake. We laid down and stared at the stars.
"Newtie?"
"Yeah?" He turned to look at me.
"Will you be my boyfriend?" I asked softly whispering to him. God, the thought of us being together made me feel sick.
"I would love to be your boyfriend Teresa." He responded his eyes lighting up.
Then we kissed. It's not like we haven't kissed before, this one was just different. We stayed there the entire night, eventually falling asleep.

- Y/n pov:

*you are still passed out*

I watched as a small girl with long brown hair, run through the forest, a slightly taller boy following. She was laughing and smiling as he chased after her.
Then I watched as the girl now slightly older maybe 10? Was sat in a room with the other boy. A smart blonde woman pacing up and down. Tears streamings own her face.
Then the girl who looked about 13 now, was alone with the woman, hooked up to some machine thrashing about. The boy rushed in crying begging the woman to stop it, but she just ignored him.
Then it cut to the girl. She was 15. She was staring at a screen. On that screen was the glade. Within it was Newt and other gladers. Opposite her were Thomas and Teresa. Next to her was the boy in all the previous memories. Josh. The same blonde woman walking up and down a platform in front of them. Lecturing them, instructing them.
Finally it cut to the girl being dragged by guards to a room. She was strapped to a bed and may doctors rushed in and started to inject her with many different liquids and medications. The blonde lady walked up to her and whispered one singular sentence in her ear.
"Remember, Wicked is good."
