(Compound: Dinning Room)

Rebecca sat in the dinning room sipping on the morning coffee, she was busy thinking about her duties related to helping the human faction. A lot changes were occurring their especially since Cami had taken over and under the advisement of Rebecca, the faction was starting to stabilize a lot more than before.

The original vampire was suddenly struck by the recent quiet that had happened throughout New Orleans. No evil aunts trying to kill them or a witch cult trying to kill her niece and most surprising was how content her family seemed.

Though the blonde was happy with the peace that had been going on for a few weeks a part of her was worried that this might just be the calm before the storm. Just as she was finishing her coffee her brother Klaus and Hayley, who was carrying Hope, entered the kitchen.

"Ah sister you're already awake?" spoke Klaus.

"Yeah, you know a lot to do for the Human faction." replied Rebecca.

"Hopefully you aren't overdoing it?" asked Hayley.

"Oh come on I am certain my sister is more than capable of handling this." stated Klaus reassuringly with a smirk. "She was able to survive living amongst the high schoolers from Mystic Falls and they had a lot more drama than in New Orleans."

"As much as I hate to admit it, Nik is right about that." agreed Rebecca. "And what about you three anything planned for today?"

"Well Klaus will be busy with overlooking the three original sires and I will be busy with Faction duty, though we do have a plan to make time during dinner." stated Hayley while looking at her husband lovingly.

"Ugh get a room you too." came the voice of Kol who had just entered the kitchen with disgust in his face.

"Well this is certainly a surprise." spoke Rebecca. "It's quite rare to see you being outside in the day time."

"I know sister, however Freya and Davina kicked me out of the lab after I kept telling them about how they can correct their potions." stated Kol.

"I think you meant nagging, brother." stated Klaus which made the two ladies chuckle a little.

"Fine, maybe I was nagging but I already know what needs to be done to help them." stated Kol in annoyance.

"Well they probably just want to experiment a bit." stated Hayley.

"I get that." stated Kol with a heavy sigh. "I was like that once too."

All three looked at Kol with sad eyes. Kol had always been interested in magic however his passion was brought to an end when he had been turned into a vampire, considering he had been living in a human body now his passion for the arts had been reignited which the family was really glad about.

Just then Rebecca looked at her watch and realized she needs to leave for the Human Faction tasks.

"I apologize you three but I have a few tasks to attend to." stated Rebecca as she got up and left.

(Rousseau's Bar)

Elijah and Marcel were sitting across from each other in the outdoor seating while enjoying their drinks. Both men weren't big talkers and without the women in their life being around, they were unable to continue the conversation without making the other person awkward. Elijah finally cleared his throat causing Marcel to look up to the older Mikaelson brother.

"Well I know you might be wondering why I have summoned you here Marcellus." stated Elijah.

"Yeah the thought did pop in my mind." replied Marcel.

"Yes, well I called you to discuss how we should move forward with your vampire army." started Elijah. "Especially since their numbers have been increasing by a significant amount."

"Well I was thinking of going about it the same way as before, only the trusted ones get daylight rings and the rest remain as nightwalkers." stated Marcel.

"Yes well I have no issues with your previous policies, you had managed the vampires excellently before as well." mentioned Elijah which made the young vampire smile. "What I wanted to talk about was training them."

"Training them?"

"Yes, I know you don't want them to actually act as an army but just like any other faction however considering the way the witches have been behaving and the presence of Strix, I was thinking we should prepare them in cases of any wars breaking out." stated Elijah.

Marcel kept his hand to his chin as he went into his thoughts. Elijah was right, after all the events that have occurred the biggest problem that would come up with his vampires would be their fighting ability and only a few of them were naturally born fighters such as Josh and Gia.

He looked up with a serious look to the Mikaelson brother who was waiting for the young vampires response.

"I agree with you that they need training but isn't Finn already doing that?" asked Marcel.

"Finn is merely teaching them how they can survive with their powers, I was thinking we should teach them how they can fight with those powers." replied Elijah.

Marcel took another minute to get this information sorted out in his mind.

"Alright. I am in." stated Marcel.

"Excellent." spoke Elijah with a smile.

(Lucien's Penthouse)

Lucien was sitting in his study and fiddling with a few vials of werewolf antidotes that his company had created, until he heard a knock on his study door. He tried to hear who was on the other side but couldn't make it out.

"It's me." came the voice of Aya.

Lucien carefully kept the antidotes back in his safe which was right behind his desk and closed it.

"Come in." shouted Lucien as Aya opened the door and walked in. "And to what do I owe the pleasure?"

"I spoke with the benefactors they are asking me why we haven't moved forward with our plan." stated Aya.

"Because my dear, it isn't the right time." stated Lucien.

"And who says that? You?" asked the leader of the Strix sounding a bit agitated.

"No, not me but our Ally." stated Lucien as he smiled and kept his feet on the desk.

"Why would he suggest that?"

"He mentioned how us appearing and going ahead with the plan could back fire especially considering that the bond between the Mikaelson's are stronger than ever." stated Lucien.

"So what did he suggest we do instead?" asked Aya in annoyance.

"We play the long con." replied Lucien. "We make our moves in the shadows for the time being and only go ahead with our plan once all the players can be captured."

"And did he say where should we start?"

"He pointed me at the right direction." stated Lucien as he got up and looked out his window overlooking the entire city. "This shall be fun."
