RUPERT ALWAYS SLEPT BETTER WITH PATRICK at his side and last night had to be one of his best sleeps he’d had in his entire life. And he remained in bed longer than he usually would seeing as he was staring at the person meant to be waking him up. Patrick’s head was resting on his pillow, eyes closed peacefully and mouth parted ever so slightly. His light snores were the only sound in the room, the sound comforting to Rupert as he took in the sight of his luck beside him. How he had been so lucky, he would never know.
