The next day Mike, Jay, Lucas and Will were at, as you guessed, Mike's house on their basement, Will just already told them what he felt yesterday, that he knew the Mind Flayer was back. Mike was trying to contact El who was probably at Max's, so he took his walkie-talkie and started speaking through the Party's usual channel, while Jay called the land of his home in hopes that his parents picked up so he could tell them about all of this situation, but no one answered.
"Do you copy? This is a code red. I repeat, this is a code! Max. Do you copy?" repeated Mike with a desperate voice and after a few moments, Max responded.
"Shut. Up."
That's all that Max said before she cut the communication, Jay chuckled dryly at the antics of his girlfriend before clicking his fingers, getting the attention of the four boys. "Let me handle this." he took the phone again and pressed some buttons on the telephone and called her personal landline, he fiddled with the cable for a few seconds before she finally picked up.
"I'm sleeping. Go away."
"Don't you dare hanging up on me Mayfield, something happened, something bad. We need you, Mike's house, now."
"Jay- what? What happened?"
"Just get right here, bring El and we'll tell you. Get here. Now." Jay finished, now hanging up and turning to look at the other ones, they were looking at him weirdly so he looked back at them the same weird expression, "What?"
"Did you, Hayden Herbert Maldonado, talked to your girlfriend, Max Mayfield, like that?" Jay rolled his eyes and waved them off with his hand.
"It's no time for joking. Try Dustin again and I don't care if he doesn't respond. Do it."

After a few minutes of waiting, Max and El finally arrived, so Will explained them.
"I didn't think it was anything at first. I mean, I think I just didn't want to believe it. The first time I felt it was at Day of the Dead." explained Will as Jay clicked his fingers.
"Power went bye-bye."
"And then I felt it again at the field near the Nelsons farm the next day. Then again yesterday outside Castle Byers."
"What does it feel like?" asked Max.
"It's almost like..." Will took a breath as he thought of his next words, "You know when you drop on a roller coaster?"
