Steve and Jay continued struggling to get rid of the bats that were not just only chocking them, but also biting their stomach. And just as in a miracle, someone swatted one of the bat that was biting Jay and other someone did the same with Steve's, this two people were no other than Robin and Nancy.

"Hey there." greeted Nancy before she swatted other bat, Robin stepped on each tail that was holding Steve's and Jay's, Nancy was hitting Steve's bat while Robin was hitting Jay's, and after many tries, the two were free. Steve bit the tail the bat while Jay grabbed the other one with his hand and slammed it against the floor, ultimately killing it.

Steve did the same with his, but with a little more of violence, he slammed the bat against the floor, then, again, and again, and again! And just as the poor cat couldn't get enough, Steve pressed his feet on it's body and with his bare strength, ripped the poor bat in half.

"Steve, Hayden! Oh my god." said Nancy worriedly as she and Robin went to check on them, Eddie just stood there, dumbfounded by the environment he was set in.

"Are you okay?- Uh, no, no, no." said Robin as she inspected the few bites that Jay had on his stomach, "Uh, do you guys think these bats, have, like, rabies? It's just that rabies are, like, my number one greatest fear, and I really appreciate Hayden enough to let him die, and I think we should get you to a doctor soon." she explained quickly as she continued inspecting Jay's torso with a worried face.

"Robin, I'm pretty sure rabies doesn't even exist down here, so calm down. And we also need to find a way out of here." reassured Jay, but more distant snarling got their attention, at the afar, more bats were flying towards them, "Yeah, that's definitely not scary." the bats finally landed but this time they didn't attack them, they just gathered around the gate and started snarling.

"All right. There's not that many. We can take 'em... Right?" said Steve, but much to their misfortune, more bats were coming towards them from the sky, one of those red thunders clashed behind, letting them see a lot of those little bat's shadows.

"I admire your bravery, Harrington." said Jay as Nancy looked around before focusing on the woods.

"The woods. Come on." she, Steve, Jay, Eddie and Robin started running towards them, and let me tell you, it was a long, long way.

All of them continued walking for quite a time, but they hid on Skull Rock because some bats were flying above them, all of them were slightly nervous except for our little Jay, he was more worried of how to get out of there than the bats.

"Oh... Okay." started Robin as she slowly walked out of the rock, "That was close."

"Yeah, too close." added Eddie as everyone also stepped out of rock, Steve was having a bit of difficulty moving due the wounds he had.

"Oh, sh... Shit." he said as he stumbled and almost fell on the wall, he was starting to feel a bit fuzzy and funny because he was losing blood.

"Steve?" asked Nancy worriedly as she walked to him.

"I'm fine. I'm fine." he assured but he was everything but fine.

"No, no, no. You're not. You're losing blood. Come on, sit, sit. All right?" she cooed as she helped Steve sit on the ground and lean on the rock.

Robin slowly turned to look at Jay who was watching this with a raised eyebrow, "You're not, like... Bleeding out, right?" she asked awkwardly as Jay shook his head and looked at his sides, there were some bites and just a bit of bleeding, not as bad as Steve.

"I'm quite all right, and no Robin, I'm not hallucinating or feeling aggressive. It's Steve who's the wounded one." Robin nodded as she walked to Steve and Nancy, leaving Jay and Eddie just staring at the scene unfold.
