The next day, everyone was on Max's trailer gathered around the small living room, Nancy was explaining what she saw on the vision she had, Jay didn't spoke about what happened to him, considering that telling experience was pointless and with no good information.

"He showed me... Thinks that haven't happened yet. The most awful things, I saw a dark cloud spreading over Hawkins. Downtown on fire, dead soldiers, and this... This giant creature with... A gaping mouth, and this creature wasn't alone, there were so many monsters... An army, and they were coming into Hawkins. Into our neighborhoods, our homes... And then, he showed me my mom, and Holly, Mike, Hayden, and they... They were all..." Nancy couldn't even finish as she let out a small sniffle and some tears ran over her cheeks.

"Vecna is just trying to scare you, it uses your fears to manipulate and get control over your head, Nance, Vecna just wanted to scare you, it's just playing with your head, it's not real." reassured Jay as he placed a hand on her shoulder and rub it softly.

"Not yet. But there... There was something else. He showed me gates... Four gates, spreading across Hawkins, and these gates, they looked like the one outside of Eddie's trailer, but... They didn't stop growing, and this wasn't Upside Down Hawkins, this was our Hawkins. Our home." Nancy explained softly as everyone fell dead silent, feeling the weight of what Vecna was planning.

"Four chimes." spoke Max, gaining the attention of everyone, "Vecna's clock, it always chimes four times. Four exactly." explained Max, Jay was starting to again, connect some dots but he wasn't entirely sure of his own theory.

"I heard them too." said Nancy and that was the point when Jay finally understood.

"Vecna's been telling us it's plan the whole damn time." started Jay as he rubbed his temples with a dry chuckle, "The first chime was Chrissy, the second one was Fred, the third was Patrick... And the fourth one is supposed to be Max." he explained as he turned to look at Max, "If you die... You'll be the fourth gate, you're Vecna's final step, the destruction of Hawkins, and not just Hawkins... We could be talking about world destruction."

"Oh Jesus Chris. Jesus Christ!" exclaimed a slightly nervous and scared Eddie as he covered his face with his hands.

"Try 'em again. Try 'em again." hurried Steve to Max, the red haired girl nodded and then she took the telephone, pressing some numbers and waiting, after a few moments she hung up.

"Anything?"

"No." Max responded, "Rang a few times, then went to busy signal." Max said with a sigh.

"Maybe you punched it wrong. Try again." said Steve as Max rolled her eyes and took the telephone again.

"I didn't punch it in wrong."

"Well, I don't know."

"Steve, I believe Max is fully capable to just press some buttons correctly." said Jay with a small scowl and a light glare.

"I'm just saying, she could've typed it in wrong." Steve defended himself as he shot his arms in the air in mock surrender.

Jay shook his head in denial as he stared at Max, everything was already looking really bad, his parents were supposedly on Alaska, Joyce didn't answer, everything was really messed up. However, his thoughts were interrupted when something caught his attention, he saw a really dim white silhouette behind Max, maybe even her height.

Max shook her head and hung up again, turning to look back at the others, "Same shit." she said but she quickly noticed that Jay seemed to stare something, she turned around and saw that, nothing, then she turned back to look at Jay, "You okay?"
