I lay in bed, staring at the patterns on the ceiling, following the swirls around with my eyes until they made me go dizzy so I ended up shutting them tightly. Jaymi’s voice played around in my head, he was right, Josh was going to find out one way or another, great now One Direction are stuck in my head. As Jaymi’s voice kept repeating itself, I did everything I could to get it out of my head but nothing worked; it was like a nightmare constantly reminding me of the bad times. There was only one person who knew my secret and that’s Jaymi, he didn’t find out because I told him, I haven’t told anyone, Jaymi just guessed. He’s good at guessing things like relationships and the way people act around each other. For now, they were happy that Josh and I were finally in a relationship and that’s all that mattered, I guess I’ll just have to take each step as I come to it.

“And I was like baby, baby, baby ohhhhh

I groaned and slowly opened my eyes to see a shadow dancing around. There was only one person who could be dancing at singing at this time in a morning and that was Lucie.

“Luce, shut the hell up” I moaned, throwing one of my pillows at her.

As she caught it, I heard footsteps approaching the bed and then a soft sensation over my head, feathers surrounding me. Lucie stood over me, a smile on her face.

“Good Morning Mrs Cuthbert” she replied, continuing to sing to the radio.

I groaned again, grabbing the pillow that had just been thrown at me, turning it over to the cold side and burying my face in it.

“Morning Rach, rise and shine” Jessie said.

The smell of her shampoo filled the room and I tossed over, my eyes looking at her perfect figure, her towel wrapped around her and her hair soaking wet from the shower.

“Good Morning” I said, sitting up and stretching my arms.

I looked around to see my phone flashing on the table next to me, Josh’s photo which he took himself brightening up my morning. I picked up the phone, stabbing the button to make it stop ringing. Sliding the key, I opened the text.

Good Morning beautiful, I’ll meet you at 10”

I smiled and within three seconds of the smile being planted on my face, my two roommates took my phone, reading the text out loud and bursting into cute awe’s and ah’s.

“I’ll take that” I said.

Taking the phone and grabbing my towel from the rail, I made my way into the bathroom. I took a very quick shower, tied my hair up in a messy bun and changed into my sportswear for my dance class. I grabbed my bag with my dance shoes inside, said goodbye to my friends and made my way down the hallway. As I got closer and closer to the door, I could smell Josh’s sweet scent, telling me that he was already there waiting for me. Pulling open the door, I was wrapped in Josh’s arms and received a sweet good morning kiss on the cheek.

As we walked out of the building, the warm summer sunshine lit up our faces with the cool breeze blowing through the branches cooling us down. We walked and talked about the boy’s reactions to the news we had to tell them last night.

“What was Jaymi talking to you about?” Josh asked suddenly.

“Huh?” I asked, acting like I didn’t know what he was talking about, but we all know that I did.

“Last night, when he took you over to one side and started whispering to you”

“Oh, he erm….” I really needed a good excuse right now, how would I say something that wouldn’t make Josh suspicious? Any suggestions? No? Thanks for your help!
