Nezu was currently in a secret meeting with Qrow, Ozpin and General Ironwood as they were in the midst of discussing how to proceed, with Qrow not exactly taking it seriously.

"So gentlemen, any suggestions?" Ozpin said as Qrow took a swig from his flask before holding his hand up.

"Yep, right here." Qrow said, slurring his words just a tiny bit which made Ironwood face plam.

"I still don't understand how you can function when drunk out of your mind, Qrow." Ironwood said, making Qrow roll his eyes as he put his flask away.

"Hey, I'll have you know this is my first drink of the day. And besides, it ain't my fault you're a lightweight, Jimmy. Anyways, my suggestion is that maybe instead of focusing on what ifs, maybe we try focusing on the here and now." Qrow said as Ozpin looked at him with a serious look in his eyes.

"Qrow, as long as Salem is alive, we have to prepare for her inevitable attack."

"I get that, but since she's currently not in the picture, we should take that opportunity to fix things so if and when she does come back, she'll be pressed up against the wall. Like taking care of the White Fang, because Salem could have someone who is part of the White Fang on her payroll for all we know." Qrow explained to his peers, hoping they would see where he is coming from.

"Qrow does have a point. Salem having a mole or two within the White Fang could explain their turn towards violence." Nezu said, with Qrow feeling relieved that Nezu knew where we was coming from.

"Well maybe we wouldn't be having this conversation if we knew what the Fall Maiden's attackers looked like, Qrow." Ironwood said as Qrow narrowed his eyes at the general.

"Oh, I'm sorry James, I wasn't aware that not knowing one of Amber's attackers had a hallucination semblance was my fault!" Qrow yelled as Ozpin stood up and got between the two men.

"That's enough from both of you! Arguing won't help us get any farther then we already are! Now, how about we offer suggestions rather then getting into a screaming match?" Ozpin asked as Qrow and Ironwood both backed up, while Nezu felt a bit of sweat slide down his face.

"Well, I suggest we find a new candidate to become the Fall Maiden immediately." Ironwood said as Qrow and Nezu both had shocked looks on their faces.

"Really? We're just going to give up on Amber and get someone else involved in this shit show?!" Qrow snapped, only to quickly calm down as Nezu gave him a look, making Qrow feel at ease.

"That does seem to be of a drastic leap, don't you think James? Just writing Amber off as a lost cause is a bit extreme."

"Well, her condition is unprecedented, so it's important we can transfer the remaining half of the maiden powers as soon as possible. That's why I had that machine made after all." Ironwood explained.

"And if it doesn't work?" Qrow asked.

"We'll cross that bridge when we get to it." Ironwood stated as Qrow just face palmmed.

"Let's focus on trying to improve Amber's condition for now. It's too soon to start considering new candidates." Ozpin said as he sat back down.

"Something I don't understand is why none of you are even considering keeping an eye on Nezu's star student." Ironwood said as both Nezu and Qrow both looked at him, both knowing he was talking about Izuku.

"What's that supposed to mean, James?" Nezu asked.

"Come on Nezu, don't pretend he's a picture perfect student who follows the rules. Does the Stain incident ring any bells?" Ironwood asked, as Nezu was surprised to know the truth behind the mess with Stain.
