𝐂𝐚𝐬𝐮𝐚𝐥𝐭𝐢𝐞𝐬 𝐎𝐟 𝐋𝐨𝐯𝐞 𝐀𝐧𝐝 𝐋𝐮𝐬𝐭

Damage Control

"Down, set, hike!" Kenya screamed before snapping the ball. She passed it to Mason and he took off down the field with the speed of lightning. His little legs were moving so fast that he could hardly keep up with himself. The site alone was enough to pull a giggle out of her because the ball looked so much bigger in his tiny hands. It was almost too big for him to wrap his arms around. He was on his way to the touchdown line when he heard a loud noise behind him.

"ROOOAAARRR!!!" Aaron growled as he spread his fingers apart and curled them over, making them resemble large claws. The tickle monster was on the loose and headed in Mason's direction.

He glanced over his shoulder and spotted Aaron charging after him. He was so focused on avoiding the tickle monster that he was no longer paying attention to where he was going. Halfway down the field Mason ended up tripping over his own two feet causing the ball to tumble out of his grip. Aaron reached out and caught him by the back of his shirt before he could hit the ground. When he was done he tossed Mason up in the air and caught him in his arms. The sudden rush of adrenaline caused him to laugh even harder which quickly turned to howls once Aaron began tickling him.

With the two of them preoccupied, Kenya took the opportunity to pick up the ball and pass it to their other son Maverick. He quickly snatched it and ran to the touch down post. Aaron saw him on the move and quickly put Mason down before dashing down the field towards him. Claws out. Aaron was ready to give another tickle attack, but Kenya had tricks up her sleeves too. So, when Aaron inched closer Kenya rushed him and jumped into his arms. The two of them went flying backwards, before crashing down in the fluffy grass.

She had gone from being the offensive linemen, to quarterback, to blocking for her son all in a matter of seconds. Since they were at a park instead of a football field, they used two of the local trees that were scattered around to mark their end zone. Maverick took it all the way home with the game winning touchdown. using their sons to distract Aaron had worked like a charm. There was no way they'd win against a professional athlete without throwing tricks. So, Triple teaming Aaron was a must.

" Tush down!" Maverick yelled as he slammed the football down and attempted to do the dougie. One of the dances he witnessed Aaron do whenever he got a touchdown.

" No, it goes like dis" Mason ran over and attempted to hit the Quan.

They didn't have any rhythm and could barely dance but Aaron still noticed what they were trying to do. He found it both cute and hilarious at the same time. Seeing them doing his movies warmed his heart. He chuckled loudly. It was times like this that put everything into perspective for Aaron. He realized he felt happiest when he was with his family. He couldn't believe he had put himself in a position where he could have lost them and moments like these that he cherished so dearly. He decided right then to end things with Koryn. Maybe then he and Kenya could get back to how things used to be.

He turned his attention to Kenya who was laying on the ground next to him. She rested up on her elbows. A smile graced her face as she watched their children doing their victory dances. She snapped and clapped her hands to a made up rhythm as she cheered them on. He admired her. She looked stunning laying there in the grass as the sun kissed her cocoa colored skin. She was too focused on their children to notice him staring at her. It was the first time he's witnessed a genuine smile from her since the video incident. It felt good to finally see it.

Since the video situation she hadn't really been saying much. She kept all conversation brief and only spoke to him when she absolutely needed to. The only time Kenya said more than a few words to him was when they attended counseling sessions once a week with Dr. Furlan. Aaron hated going to them but So he had to do it whether he liked it or not. He was trying to fix what he fucked up so he had to do it weather he liked it or not. He cupped her chin with his finger and turned her head towards him before stealing her soft lips. Kenya's body stiffened as the thought of pulling away crossed her mind. She still wasn't comfortable being affectionate with him so soon after his treachery. Then she remembered the reason they were there and allowed it to happen.
