Donnie was in the bathroom getting ready for the day when a knock at her door interrupted her. She opened the door and was stunned to see Kenya standing there. Her fist was still awkwardly frozen in mid air as if she was preparing to knock again.

"What the hell is she doing here?" Donnie thought.

She had tried reaching out to Kenya after her last visit but she ignored all of her advances. Donnie wanted to apologize for what happened between them the night she came over. Not because she felt like she had done something wrong but because Kenya felt away about it. She spent two days reaching out to her before finally calling it quits, realizing their friendship was a lost cause. Like a flick of a switch, she had turned those feelings off. She had gone from worrying to not giving a fuck so imagine her surprise seeing Kenya dock on her doorstep.

Her first mind was to send her right back to wherever she came from. After taking a closer look she knew something was wrong. The eyes never lie. Kenya looked like life had been whooping her ass. She was dressed slightly differently than usual in more modest attire. Since it was a sunday Donnie guessed she had just left church. She would feel bad sending her away in such a terrible state. Kenya glanced at her before lowering her head in shame. She felt terrible for dropping in on her unannounced like this.

She didn't even know if Donnie had company inside. She just got in the car and drove. Her destination was nowhere. An hour later she found herself parked outside of Donnie's building. Since the person at the front desk remembered her from her last visit, he allowed her to go up with no problem. She was desperate and needed someone to talk to. Someone who would listen and not judge her or in Nia's case offer up bad advice. Besides Donnie had always been a great listener.

" I won't say I had nowhere else to go because that would be a lie. I just wanted to come back to the place where I last felt at peace." Kenya admitted. Donnie stood there silently as she raised a stiff finger to Kenya's chin, lifting it until their eyes met.

" What happened?" She asked as her brows furrowed with concern.

Kenya's bottom lip quivered as she shook her head, denying anything being wrong though her tears said otherwise. See, this was one thing Donnie was starting to dislike about her. The disappearing acts. Kenya seemed to have a bad habit of coming and going in peoples live whenever she felt like it. It was something she usually wouldn't tolerate. Kenya being so fragile made it hard for her to set boundaries. She just admitted to finding peace with her. That statement alone was enough to melt away any resentment Donnie felt towards her.

She stepped back, pushing the door open further to allow Kenya access. It wasn't until she felt something stumble over her shoe that she realized they weren't alone. She looked down and saw two of the cutest little faces staring up at her. She knew instantly who the children were. She had heard a lot about the twins but this would be her first time putting the names with their faces. Donnie thought Kenya's children looked handsome in their matching outfits and little custom name chains. She could tell they came from money and weren't average kids. They were swaggy as fuck and those chains hanging from their necks looked like they coasted more than some people's houses. Mason and Maverick looked similar to one another but not quite the same, making them appear more like siblings than twins. One was slightly taller and a few shades lighter. It was quite obvious they were fraternal.

Kenya sauntered in and Donnie closed the door behind them. When she was done she squatted down low so that her height matched there's. Her lips curled into a welcoming smile. Donnie loved kids and often flirted with the idea of having a few of her own one day. She knew that the task wouldn't be easy due to her sexuality. She would have to find a healthy sperm donor. Also there was the thought of who was going to carry the baby because Donnie wasn't sure if she wanted to.
