Part 2 :)
The next morning was bittersweet for the Sturniolo Triplets. They had a scheduled tour to meet their fans, which meant they had to leave Y/N at daycare for the day. Y/N, now two years old, was more aware of her surroundings and understood when her dads had to leave, even if she didn’t like it.
As they prepared to head out, Nick, Matt, and Chris were bustling around, packing their bags and making sure everything was in order. Y/N watched them with a mix of curiosity and apprehension.
Matt knelt down to Y/N’s level, smiling reassuringly. “We’re going to be gone for just a little while today, sweetheart. You’ll have lots of fun at daycare, and we’ll be back before you know it.”
Chris handed her a small stuffed toy, one of her favorites. “This is for you to take with you, so you can have a piece of home with you all day.”
Nick lifted Y/N into his arms, giving her a gentle hug. “We love you so much, Y/N. Be a good girl, okay?”
Y/N nodded slowly but didn’t look entirely convinced. When they arrived at the daycare, the triplets took turns giving her hugs and kisses, trying to reassure her.
As they walked her inside, Y/N clung to Nick, her eyes wide as she looked around the room filled with other children. She glanced up at her dads, her expression a mix of trust and uncertainty.
The daycare worker, Ms. Kelly, approached with a warm smile. “Good morning, Y/N! We’re going to have so much fun today.”
Y/N side-eyed her dads, clearly not happy about being left behind. Nick, Matt, and Chris each gave her one last kiss and hug before reluctantly leaving.
“We’ll be back soon, Y/N,” Matt promised, his heart aching as they walked out the door.
As they drove to their tour venue, the triplets couldn’t help but talk about Y/N. “I hate leaving her,” Nick admitted, glancing at the rearview mirror as if he could still see her little face.
“She’s in good hands,” Chris reassured them. “Ms. Kelly is great, and Y/N will make new friends and have a good time.”
Matt nodded, though he shared Nick’s sentiment. “I know, but it doesn’t make it any easier.”
At the venue, the triplets were greeted by an enthusiastic crowd of fans. Despite their worry for Y/N, they threw themselves into the meet-and-greet, signing autographs, taking photos, and chatting with their supporters.
Back at the daycare, Y/N spent the morning quietly observing the other children. She played a little, clutching her stuffed toy for comfort. As the day went on, she slowly warmed up to the activities and the friendly daycare staff.
By the time the triplets finished their event and returned to the daycare, they were eager to see Y/N. When they walked in, Y/N’s face lit up with joy, and she ran to them as fast as her little legs could carry her.
“Dada Matiyu, Dada Chris, Dada Nick!” she exclaimed, hugging them tightly.
Nick picked her up, spinning her around. “There’s our brave girl! Did you have fun?”
