As Matt read softly to Y/N, he noticed her breathing slow and deepen, signaling that she had drifted into a peaceful sleep. He gently closed the book and looked down at her, his heart full of affection. But soon, a familiar smell reached his nose. He realized that Y/N had pooped in her diaper again while she was sleeping.

Matt sighed quietly, not wanting to disturb her rest, but knowing he needed to clean her up to keep her comfortable. He gently shook her shoulder, trying to rouse her.

"Y/N, sweetie, wake up for a bit," he whispered softly.

Y/N stirred slightly, her eyes fluttering open for a moment. "Matt?" she mumbled sleepily.

"You had another accident, Y/N. I need to clean you up," Matt explained gently.

Y/N barely nodded, her eyes already closing again. "Okay," she whispered before slipping back into her slumber.

Matt carefully picked her up and carried her to her bedroom, laying her down on her changing mat. He gathered the necessary supplies: a clean diaper, wipes, and fresh pajamas. With practiced ease, he began the process of changing her diaper, being as gentle as possible to avoid waking her completely.

As he cleaned her up, Y/N stirred a few times but didn’t fully wake up. Matt worked quickly and efficiently, making sure she was comfortable and clean. Once he finished, he dressed her in a fresh pair of pajamas and gently laid her back down in her bed, tucking her in with her favorite blanket.

"There you go, all clean," Matt whispered, brushing a soft kiss on her forehead. "Sleep tight, little mermaid."

Y/N snuggled into her blanket, a small smile playing on her lips even in her sleep. Matt watched her for a moment, making sure she was completely comfortable before quietly tidying up the room.

Returning to the living room, Matt disposed of the dirty diaper and washed his hands. He then settled back into his chair beside Y/N’s bed, feeling a mixture of exhaustion and contentment. Despite the unexpected interruptions, he wouldn’t trade these moments for anything.

As the night deepened, Matt sat quietly, watching over his little sister. He reflected on the day's adventures and the challenges they faced. He knew that caring for Y/N was a big responsibility, but it was one he embraced with all his heart. Her trust and love were the most precious things to him, and he would always be there to protect and support her.

Eventually, Matt's eyes grew heavy, and he dozed off in the chair, a book resting on his lap. The house was filled with a peaceful silence, broken only by the gentle breathing of Y/N as she slept, secure in the knowledge that her big brother was always there for her.

The next morning, the sun filtered through the curtains, casting a warm glow in Y/N's bedroom. Matt woke up first, stretching and rubbing his eyes. He looked over at Y/N, who was still sleeping soundly, and decided to start breakfast before waking her up.

He made his way to the kitchen, preparing a simple breakfast of cereal and fruit. He poured himself a glass of orange juice and opened the fridge to get milk for Y/N. As he reached for the milk, he noticed that it was past its expiration date.
