Part 2 :)

--

As Y/N approached her second birthday, her tiny mouth had filled with baby teeth, making her smile even more adorable. Her development was a source of constant joy and amusement for her three devoted brothers. They marveled at her growing personality and the way she communicated her likes and dislikes—often in very clear terms.

One evening, the brothers were gathered in the kitchen for dinner. Nick was finishing up a delicious homemade stew, Chris was setting the table, and Matt was tasked with feeding Y/N her vegetables. They were determined to ensure she had a balanced diet, despite her emerging preferences.

"Alright, Y/N, time for some yummy veggies," Matt said, scooping a small spoonful of mashed carrots and peas. He approached her high chair with a smile, expecting her usual enthusiastic response.

However, as soon as Y/N saw the spoonful of vegetables, she pursed her lips, turned her head to the side, and gave Matt a withering side-eye. It was a look that clearly conveyed her disdain for the offering.

Nick, watching from the stove, chuckled. "Uh-oh, looks like someone's not a fan of veggies tonight."

Chris grabbed his camera, always ready to capture Y/N's funny moments. "Classic side-eye. I think she's getting even better at it."

Matt sighed dramatically, pretending to be deeply hurt. "Y/N, come on, these are good for you," he coaxed, trying to get her to open her mouth. "Just one bite for Uncle Matt?"

Y/N's eyes narrowed even more, and she crossed her tiny arms in defiance, making it clear that she was not interested in the vegetables.

"Alright, alright, I get it," Matt laughed, setting the spoon down. "How about some fruit instead?" He reached for a small bowl of sliced bananas, which Y/N immediately accepted with a smile, her previous defiance forgotten.

Nick joined them at the table, shaking his head in amusement. "She's definitely got a mind of her own."

Chris sat down beside Y/N, offering her a sippy cup of water. "And she's not afraid to let us know what she thinks."

As Y/N happily munched on the bananas, Matt couldn't resist teasing her. "You're lucky you're so cute, you know that? Otherwise, I'd be very upset with all these rejections."

Y/N looked up at Matt, her mouth full of banana, and flashed her toothy grin. It was impossible to be frustrated with her when she looked so adorably mischievous.

The brothers continued their dinner, chatting and laughing about Y/N's antics. They knew that these moments, filled with laughter and challenges, were precious parts of their journey together as a family.

After dinner, they gathered in the living room for some playtime before bed. Y/N toddled around, showing off her new walking skills and engaging her brothers in a game of chase. Her laughter filled the room, and the brothers took turns being "caught" by her, collapsing onto the floor in exaggerated defeat each time she tagged them.

When it was time for bed, Nick carried Y/N to her nursery, while Matt and Chris followed. They went through their familiar bedtime routine—bathing, dressing her in cozy pajamas, and reading her favorite story. As Matt read the final lines of the book, Y/N's eyes grew heavy, and she snuggled into her blanket.
