Back home, as Y/n regained her strength, she continued to cling to Matt whenever she felt a wave of weakness or just needed comfort. One evening, while the triplets were all relaxing in the living room, Y/n suddenly got up from her spot and walked over to Matt, her steps still a bit unsteady.

"Hey there, sweetheart," Matt said gently, noticing her approach. He opened his arms, inviting her in.

Without a word, Y/n climbed onto the couch and nestled herself against Matt, hiding her head in the crook of his neck. She clung to him tightly, her small arms wrapped around him as if afraid to let go.

Nick and Chris looked on with understanding and empathy. They knew how much comfort Y/n found in Matt's presence, and they were grateful for the bond she shared with each of them.

"You okay, Y/n?" Nick asked softly, moving closer and placing a reassuring hand on her back.

Y/n nodded against Matt's neck, her voice muffled. "I just want to stay with Matt," she whispered.

Matt stroked her hair gently. "You can stay here as long as you need, Y/n. We’re all here for you."

Chris brought over Y/n's favorite blanket and draped it over her, adding an extra layer of warmth and security. "There you go, little sis," he said with a smile. "All snug and cozy."

Y/n sighed contentedly, feeling safe and loved in Matt's arms. The room was filled with a comforting silence, the kind that only comes from being surrounded by family.

As the evening progressed, they decided to watch one of Y/n's favorite movies. Matt kept his arms securely around her, ensuring she felt safe and supported. Nick and Chris took turns making snacks and bringing drinks, creating a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.

Halfway through the movie, Y/n lifted her head slightly, looking up at Matt with sleepy eyes. "Thank you, Matt," she whispered.

Matt smiled down at her, his heart swelling with love. "No need to thank me, Y/n. You're our little sister, and we love you very much."

Y/n smiled back, her eyes starting to droop. "I love you too," she murmured before nestling back into his neck and drifting off to sleep.

As the movie ended, Nick and Chris looked over at the sleeping Y/n and the peaceful expression on Matt's face. They knew that no matter what challenges came their way, their bond as a family would always carry them through.

"She’s a strong kid," Nick said quietly, his voice filled with admiration.

"Yeah, she is," Chris agreed. "And we’re lucky to have her."

Matt nodded, his gaze fixed on Y/n. "We’ll always be here for her. No matter what."

With Y/n safely nestled in his arms, Matt felt a profound sense of gratitude and responsibility. The triplets had faced their share of challenges, but together, they knew they could handle anything.
