As the afternoon went on, Y/N and the triplets enjoyed their boba drinks at the park. The sun was starting to set, casting a warm, golden light over everything. The conversation flowed easily, filled with jokes, stories, and plans for future hangouts.

As they walked along a path lined with trees, Y/N and Matt gradually fell a few steps behind Nick and Chris. They were discussing their favorite movies when Matt, feeling a surge of boldness, reached out and gently took Y/N's hand. She glanced at him, surprised but pleased, and gave his hand a reassuring squeeze.

Ahead of them, Nick and Chris noticed the gesture. Chris nudged Nick with a grin. "Looks like Matt finally made his move," he whispered.

Nick chuckled softly. "It's about time. You can tell he really likes her."

They continued walking, giving Matt and Y/N a bit of space. Matt felt a mix of nervousness and excitement as they held hands. "I hope this is okay," he said softly, glancing at Y/N.

"It's more than okay," Y/N replied with a warm smile. "I'm really happy."

Matt felt his heart lift at her words, and they walked in comfortable silence for a while, simply enjoying each other's company.

Eventually, they all found a spot to sit down, spreading out on the grass. Chris and Nick subtly gave each other knowing looks, deciding to keep the focus on the group rather than drawing attention to Matt and Y/N holding hands.

Nick pulled out his phone and suggested they play a game of "Would You Rather," which led to a series of hilarious and thought-provoking questions. The game kept everyone engaged and laughing, and it made the time fly by.

As the sky turned darker and stars began to appear, Chris glanced at his watch. "We should probably start heading home," he said reluctantly. "It's getting late."

Y/N nodded, feeling a bit of sadness that the day was coming to an end but also grateful for the wonderful time she had spent with her friends. "Yeah, I guess we should."

As they walked back to the park entrance, Nick and Chris continued to chat animatedly, giving Matt and Y/N some privacy. Matt held Y/N's hand a bit tighter, feeling a deep sense of contentment.

When they reached the entrance, they all paused, reluctant to say goodbye. "We should definitely do this again soon," Chris said, and everyone agreed enthusiastically.

Nick grinned at Y/N. "And next time, maybe you can show us some more of your favorite spots around here."

Y/N smiled, feeling incredibly lucky to have such amazing friends. "I'd love that."

As they parted ways, Matt hesitated for a moment before giving Y/N a quick hug. "See you soon, Y/N," he said softly.

"See you soon, Matt," she replied, her heart full.

Walking home, Y/N couldn't help but replay the day's events in her mind. Holding Matt's hand had felt natural and right, and she was excited to see where their friendship-and maybe more-might go.
