Part 2 :)

--

As the delicious aroma of chocolate cake filled the Sturniolo household, the family gathered around the kitchen table, sharing stories and laughter. Y/n was nestled comfortably between Matt and Chris, her earlier distress forgotten as she enjoyed the warm, loving atmosphere.

Marylou was setting out plates for the cake when she noticed Y/n's hand starting to twitch. Her heart skipped a beat, recognizing the signs of an oncoming seizure. She quickly but calmly caught Matt's eye, signaling him with a nod.

"Y/n, sweetie," Matt said gently, trying to distract her. "Why don't you tell us what you want to do tomorrow?"

But Y/n didn't respond. Her twitching intensified, and her eyes started to lose focus. Chris, noticing the change, moved closer, his expression shifting to concern.

"Mom, Dad," Matt called out, his voice steady but urgent.

Marylou and Jimmy were already by Y/n's side, having anticipated the need. "Okay, everyone, stay calm," Jimmy said, taking charge. "We know what to do."

Matt gently held Y/n's hand, trying to keep her from falling out of the chair. "It's okay, Y/n. We're right here."

Nick quickly cleared the table, making space, while Chris helped move the chairs back to give Y/n room. Marylou grabbed the emergency kit they kept nearby, just in case.

Y/n's body began to convulse more strongly, her small frame trembling. Matt and Jimmy carefully laid her on her side, cushioning her head with a soft towel Marylou had brought over.

"You're doing great, Y/n," Chris said softly, his voice steady despite his worry. "We're all here with you."

The seizure lasted only a couple of minutes, but to the family, it felt like an eternity. Finally, Y/n's body began to relax, the convulsions subsiding. Her breathing evened out, and she started to come back to awareness.

Marylou checked her watch, noting the time of the seizure's duration for the doctor's records. "Y/n, sweetheart, can you hear me?" she asked gently.

Y/n's eyes fluttered open, and she looked around, disoriented but slowly recognizing her surroundings. She saw her family, their faces filled with concern and love, and she knew she was safe.

"Hey there, princess," Matt said, his voice soft and comforting. "You did so well."

Nick knelt beside her, offering a reassuring smile. "We've got you, Y/n. You're okay."

Chris held her hand, giving it a gentle squeeze. "We're so proud of you. You're so strong."

Y/n, still a bit dazed, managed a small nod. She felt tired, but the warmth and support of her family helped her feel more at ease.

Marylou and Jimmy helped Y/n back into a comfortable position on the couch, wrapping a blanket around her. "Let's take it easy for a bit," Jimmy suggested. "We'll have some cake once you're feeling better."

Y/n nodded again, her eyes heavy with exhaustion. Matt stayed by her side, his presence a constant source of comfort. The brothers exchanged looks, their bond growing even stronger in moments like these.
