The next day, Matt, Nick, and Chris decided to take Y/n to the mall for a fun outing. They wanted to pick up a few things and thought Y/n would enjoy exploring a new place. As they walked through the bustling mall, Y/n's eyes were wide with excitement, taking in all the sights and sounds.

"Let's check out the toy store," Chris suggested, noticing Y/n's eager expression.

"Good idea," Matt agreed, adjusting Y/n in his arms as they made their way to the store.

As soon as they entered the toy store, Y/n's excitement reached new heights. Matt set her down to let her crawl around a bit, while the three uncles kept a close watch. However, with so many colorful toys and interesting things to see, it was easy for Y/n to become distracted.

In a moment of distraction while Nick was checking out a display and Chris and Matt were discussing which toys to buy, Y/n crawled off towards the toy section. She made her way to a shelf filled with plush toys, her eyes lighting up at the sight of a fluffy teddy bear. Without hesitation, she grabbed the bear and started chewing on its ear, completely absorbed in her new discovery.

It wasn't until a few moments later that Matt looked down and realized Y/n was missing. Panic immediately set in as he scanned the area, not seeing her anywhere nearby.

"Guys, Y/n's gone," Matt said urgently, his heart racing.

Nick and Chris immediately began looking around, their faces filled with worry. "She couldn't have gone far," Chris said, trying to stay calm.

"Let's split up and find her," Nick suggested.

They fanned out through the store, calling her name softly to avoid alarming other shoppers. Matt headed towards the toy section and, after a few tense minutes, spotted Y/n sitting contentedly on the floor, gnawing on the teddy bear.

"There you are!" Matt exclaimed with relief, scooping her up and holding her close. "You gave us a scare, Y/n."

Y/n looked up at Matt, still clutching the bear, and giggled, seemingly unaware of the worry she had caused. "Teddy," she said, showing him the toy she had been biting.

Chris and Nick hurried over, their faces showing a mix of relief and exasperation. "Don't wander off like that, Y/n," Chris gently scolded, ruffling her hair.

Nick shook his head, smiling despite the scare. "Guess we better buy that bear now," he said, taking the toy from Y/n to pay for it.

With Y/n securely back in Matt's arms, they made their way to the checkout. As Nick paid for the teddy bear, Matt kept a firm but gentle hold on Y/n, not wanting to lose sight of her again.

After the excitement, they decided to head to the food court for a break. They found a table, and Nick handed Y/n her newly purchased teddy bear, which she hugged tightly.

"Stay close to us from now on, okay?" Matt said softly, kissing Y/n's forehead.

Y/n nodded, her eyes wide and understanding. "Sowi, Unca Matt," she said, clinging to her bear.
