Chris and Nick, standing quietly in the kitchen, couldn't help but feel a mix of amusement and concern as they watched Matt cling to Y/N. The scene was both touching and a little surprising; Matt, usually so laid-back and independent, seemed to draw so much comfort and strength from Y/N.

Chris nudged Nick, a mischievous glint in his eye. "This is too cute not to capture," he whispered, pulling out his phone.

Nick chuckled but nodded in agreement, understanding the significance of the moment. "Just be careful," he cautioned, "We don't want to embarrass them."

Chris nodded, keeping the recording discreet as he aimed his phone at the cozy scene on the couch. Y/N and Matt were in their own world, Matt's head resting on Y/N's shoulder while her arm was wrapped protectively around him.

"This is going to be great for future teasing," Chris murmured with a grin as he captured a few seconds of footage. "But also, we should probably talk to Matt afterward."

Nick agreed, his tone more serious. "Yeah, definitely. We need to make sure he's okay."

As the brothers finished recording, they decided it was time to intervene gently. Chris put his phone away, and they walked into the living room, their expressions a mix of concern and playfulness.

"Hey guys," Nick said softly, not wanting to startle them.

Y/N looked up, her eyes widening slightly at the sight of Chris and Nick. Matt, still holding on to her, lifted his head and tried to smile, though it was clear he was still feeling vulnerable.

"Hey," Y/N replied, her voice gentle. "What's up?"

Chris smiled, trying to lighten the mood. "We couldn't help but notice how close you two are getting. Everything alright?"

Matt took a deep breath, sitting up a bit but still holding Y/N's hand. "Yeah, I'm okay. Just... had a rough day, I guess."

Nick nodded, his expression understanding. "We figured as much. Just wanted to make sure you're alright, man."

Matt smiled gratefully at his friends, feeling a little more at ease. "Thanks, guys. I appreciate it."

Chris patted Matt on the back. "Anytime, Matt. We're here for you."

Y/N squeezed Matt's hand, her eyes filled with support and care. "We all are."
