Yachi: my mum yelled at me again

Yachi: nothing big really
Yachi: i was just pissed at her
Yachi: she told me she'd be here for my birthday

Yachi: she wasnt
Yachi: actually she was but she preferred to go to a conference elsewhere
Yachi: bcs apparently she forgot it was my bday
Yachi: and yknow it wouldnt have been such a big deal
Yachi: she's been doing that for years
Yachi: this time she told me she'd be here

Yachi: ever since my 9th birthday
Yachi: from which on out she started to not attend
Yachi: she told me that she'd never miss my 16th.
Yachi: and that she would throw this big party
Yachi: welp
Yachi: she did no such thing
Yachi: and i was disappointed, sure. but. yknow. its her.
Yachi: and when i asked her about it.
Yachi: she said that i was being overdramatic and it wasnt like she'd missed my 16th.
Yachi: she said that there were 2 more years for that
Kageyama: what.
Kageyama: that's absolutely fucking ridiculous.
Yachi: yeah i told her the truth and she denied it.
Yachi: so we called my grandma
Yachi: and she confirmed it was my 16th and asked mum how she couldve forgotten such an important year
Yachi: mum said that it was fine and that i shouldnt mind
Yachi: and that i shouldnt be overdramatic
Yachi: then ofc grandma and her started fighting.
Yachi: and grandma said i wasnt okay
Yachi: mum countered w "my child is j fine thank you"
Yachi: which led me to running out of the room
Yachi: which ended up in my mum thinking it was a tantrum and yelling at me
Yachi: so i fled to the bathroom
Yachi: to text you to calm down
Yachi: and maybe ask to come over??
Kageyama: first of all im so sorry you had to go through that darling :(
Kageyama: second of all of course you can come over my home's your home. and you are absolutely NOT a burden, ever.
Kageyama: third of all i would like to know whether you'd like advice, reassurance or just my presence

Yachi: i think id just like to get away from the house. a hug would be nice
