I huffed as I sat up in bed, fuck I couldn't sleep a wink...the way she stared at me. Her big brown eyes and full plump lips, I flopped back and groaned. I am a very observing person and she was a bad liar, between her sisters busted lip and Byung-Yoon black eye something happened.

A few hours ago

I mentally rolled my eyes as Ye-Joon continued rambling about the stock market, I would've rather been home in my bed watching a soccer game. Since family time was important to Kim it was only right to endure.

I tuned Ye-Joon out as I began to think about Kivana, she was too good for Byung...a blind man could see that. She was a woman and he was a boy, he didn't know how to handle that. I smirked as that thought filled my head, I need to get her out of my head.

"Dad."

I looked up and seen Byung, Kiara and Kivana walk into the living room. I looked at Kivana and couldn't take my eyes off of her, she held onto a champagne flute as she took a seat directly by me.

FUCK.

"What happened to your hand?" I said masking my concern.

"Um, I have a habit of clinching my fist." She lied.

I looked at Byung who held a black eye...interesting, she didn't give me abusive girl friend vibes. I looked at her sister who was fiddling with her fingers and squinted my eyes...a busted lip. Interesting.

One thing about me is I know how to read a room, hints why I was able to keep the abroad head quarters afloat. Something happened between the three of them, I could see the tension...we all gather into the dining room where we had dinner.

Ye-Joon engaged in a conversation with Kivana, well not really a conversation more like back hand comments.

"All the way to the rim." Kivana said to the staff member.

I raised my brow curiously as she began to chug the glass, she wiped her mouth before looking around the table.

"Kivana, Are you ok?" Kim asked.

"Peachy." She said.

They began engaging into conversation as I kept my gaze on Kivana, she looked to be in deep thought as her grip on the glass grew tigher. Just as I was about to reach and take the glass out of her hand it burst causing her to wince in pain.

"Oh my, Byung get her some towels." Kim said.

"I'm fine." She said wrapping a napkin over her wound.

She let out a shaky breath before excusing herself, I waited one minute and forty five seconds for Byung-Yoon to go after her but he just continued talking to his father like his fiance didn't just cut her hand opened. I glanced at Kiara who was pay no attention.

I got up and made my way to the bathroom before knocking, she opened the door with an angry expression before it soften as her eyes landed on me.
