Kivana Stewart

I walked into my home and dropped my bag on the end table before removing my shoes. It was now 11:14 pm I was supposed to get off of work at 7 but of course. I had to be a perfectionist.

I took a shower and got comfortable in my bed before grabbing my phone. I scrolled through social media before placing my phone down.

It's been two days since I've seen Simon and I missed him. I missed him a lot, I'm going to give him another day before I call.

I felt my eyes get heavy before drifting asleep.

A few hours later

I woke up in a cold sweat as I looked around my room. I grabbed my phone and the clock read 2:04 am. I sighed before getting out of bed, a cold glass of milk always knock me back out.

I scratched my head as I walked down the stairs. I felt the back of my neck hairs stand as I reached the end.

I shook the feeling off and walked into the kitchen. I grabbed a glass before opening the fridge, I poured my milk and lifted it to my lips.

I stopped as I felt my neck hairs raise again...I placed the glass down and looked around. Someone was in my house...I felt the pit of my stomach drop.

I heard my phone ring...Kivan felt it, the door was too far from the stairs. If I walk back to my room normally I can make it to my phone.

I chugged my milk before walking as normal as possible to the stairs. I heard my phone ring again before I quickly ran.

I ran into my room and jumped over my bed to my ringing phone and just as I was about to answer, I was tackled.

"Let's do this the easy way."

He placed me in a head lock before I struggled to breathe. I scratched the bed post as I fought as hard as I could.

"P-please." I stuttered.

I felt something stick into my thigh before he released me. My vision blurred as I looked at the black figure.

"I'm sorry, but I need the money." He mumbled tying my hands.

My head felt heavy and the room was spinning.

"W-why?" I asked.

"It'll all be over soon." He mumbled.

My eyes rolled to the back of my head before I blacked out.

The Next Day

Kivan Stewart

I ran out the airport before waving down a cab. Something was wrong, something was very wrong. I threw my luggage into the back of the cab before getting in.

I gave the driver Kivana's address before I pulled my phone out and called Simon.

"Hello-"

"Something is wrong...it's Kivana." I said.

"What do you mean? What happened? Is she hurt?" He asked.
