Simon Dominic

I heard a knock on my door and removed my glasses. I opened the door and was pleased to see Kivana, she looked good in green. I stepped aside and let her in, a trail of strawberry followed behind her.

"Please have a seat." I said closing the door.

I walked around to my desk and unbuttoned my jacket before sitting down.

"As you know Lisa original assistant has returned. So since I'm in the run for CEO I feel it would be good to have someone like you on my team." I said.

"Someone like me?" She asked.

"Smart and intelligent, Lisa told me good things about you." I nodded.

She smiled.

"That's good to hear." She said.

"So seeing as though we're about to become family. I know nothing about you." I said.

She looked at me before looking down.

"Not much to tell." She shrugged taking the bait.

"Whatever you feel comfortable with." I said.

"I'm 30, I'm a twin. I'm from Denver, Colorado." She said.

"I've been to Denver...cold." I chuckled.

"Yeah." She said.

"So why'd you move to Korea?" I asked.

"To get away from my parents...we didn't get along." She shrugged.

"I see." I mumbled.

"What about you? I know nothing about you, I don't think Mrs.Lee mentioned you." She said.

"Well, I was abroad running the states headquarters. They were in trouble with stocks and since I'm amazing at Math." I shrugged.

"Math genius?" She asked.

"You can say that." I said.

She nodded.

"So this position is a little different from the other. More money, more work, I work here but mostly at home. Are you ok with that?" I asked.

"Sure." She said.

"Will Byung-Yoon be ok with that?" I asked raising a brow.

She scuffed as her face showed clear attitude.

"He'll be fine." She said.

"Good, because I didn't care if he wasn't ok with it." I said.

She looked at me before looking away, we discussed her schedule and began working on our first project together. We joked and laughed as we worked with one another, I've never felt more comfortable.

A knock on my door interrupted our conversation.

"Come in." I said removing my glasses.
