Kivana Stewart
I stepped out of the guest room and made my way downstairs to see Kiara and Byung-Yoon standing by the door.
"You look beautiful as-"
"Shut the fuck up." I scuffed walking pass them.
We got into the car as the uncomfortable silence surrounded us. You could hear a rat piss on cotton, I looked at the two of them and couldn't help but to smirk. Byung-Yoon eye was black and no matter how much make up Kiara put on her busted lip showed.
The car came to a stop and I was the first one out. I greeted the staff before I continued my way into the house. The sound of classical music filled my ears.
The Lee's hosted these dinners once a week. Mrs.Lee called it family time, I called it bullshit. It was fancy as fuck, waiters walked pass with trays of food and alcohol type of fancy.
"Kivana." Mrs.Lee smiled.
I quickly grabbed a glass of champagne from one of the passing waiters as she walked toward me.
"Mrs.Lee." I smiled before bowing.
She embraced me in a hug as Byung-Yoon and Kiara stood beside me. She greeted them the same way as I scanned the environment.
"What happened to your face?" She asked holding Byung-Yoon face.
"I slipped." He said.
I smirked as I took a sip of my champagne.
"Hm, ok. Everyone is in the living room, go join them I'm going to make sure everything is ready." Mrs.Lee said.
I watched as she quickly walked off, I chugged my champagne before grabbing another from a passing waiter.
"You might want to slow down." Byung-Yoon whispered.
"You might want to get out of my face before I give you another black eye." I said.
We all walked to the living room to see Mr.Lee and Simon.
"Father." Byung-Yoon smiled.
Mr.Lee stood and greeted him before completely ignoring me for Kiara. I rolled my eyes before taking a seat near Simon. The smell of Dior filled my lungs, damn this man smelled good.
"Hello." I said.
"I'm older than you, you're supposed to bow." He chuckled.
I tilted my head and chuckled.
"My apologies." I smiled.
"What happened to your hand?" He asked.
I looked at my hand and noticed the red and purple bruise on my knuckles.
"I have a habit of clinching my fist." I lied.
"Hm, I see." He said.
I looked at him and noticed he was starring at Byung-Yoon who was engaging in conversation with his father. I locked eyes with Kiara who looked away, I shook my head as I felt my phone vibrate. I looked at the caller I.D. and smiled, I excused myself from Simon before leaving the living room.
