Simon Dominic

I squeezed Kivana's hand as the doctor walked in. I was very good at reading body language but this doctor...he kept a poker face.

"Surgery went well, we stopped some major internal bleeding. It was caused by the impact...she's stable and in the clear. Her leg was broken, she will need to go to physical therapy."

"Can we see her?" Ye-Joon asked.

"Only three guest."

Ye-Joon nodded before standing.

"Kivana and Simon." He said glancing at us.

Kivana and I looked at one another before Byung stood up.

"What I am her son." Byung said angrily.

"Shut the fuck up and sit the fuck down." I snapped.

"Fuck you." Byung snapped back.

I rolled my eyes.

"She is my mother-"

"You're the reason she even was involved in the crash in the first god damn place. She called me crying hysterical, I don't know what you said or did but you're the reason she's in this predicament." I said.

"Let's go." Kivana mumbled.

I tore my eyes from him before following Ye-Joon. We stepped into the room to see Kim bandaged up, she looked at us and smiled.

"Honey, I promise I won't work as much. I'll spend more time with you, we can even go to that stupid lady spa you want." Ye-Joon said grabbing her hand.

Kim couldn't help but to laugh before caressing his face.

"I'm ok...lucky enough I walked out alive with just a broke leg." She said.

He pecked her lips multiple times causing me to gag. She looked pass him and looked at me and Kivana. She looked at our hands intertwined and raised a brow.

"Kivana." She smiled.

Kivana released my hand and sat beside her bed. Kim grabbed her hand and smiled.

"Thank you for being here." She said.

"You've shown me nothing but kindness, it was only right." Kivana smiled.

Kim looked at her and smiled, I stuffed my hands into my pocket and let out a breath of relief.

"What happened Kim?" Ye-Joon asked.

"I don't know one minute I was on the phone with Simon and the next-"

"You know that's not what he's asking." I interrupted.

She tucked her lip in and nodded, I sat at the end of the bed and folded my arms.

"Byung and I got into an argument sorta. I told him about himself and he wasn't fazed...I saw something in his eyes. Something dark...evil, that wasn't my son. I left and on my way home I just start crying which is when I called you. Then this truck didn't use a signal and..." She trailed.
