Kivana Stewart

I woke up in a cold sweat as I gasp for air. I looked around the empty room and let out a breath. I sat up before I heard the ringing of a phone, I looked around confused before opening the nightstand.

The name was "Answer if you feel the need to." Long ass contact name, I picked the phone up and hesitantly placed it on my ear.

"Hello." I mumbled.

"Hi."

I felt my heart tighten as I sat back on the bed.

"Kivan." I said.

"I wasn't going to bother you but you know-"

"Twin intuition." I said.

He chuckled.

"How are you?" He asked.

"I'm...surviving." I mumbled.

"I'm glad you're ok...sorry it took so long for me to come." He said.

I sighed.

"Thank you for coming when you did." I said.

The line grew silent.

"Kivan." I said.

"Yes." He said.

"How are you? How have you been handling everything?" I asked.

"...I knew something was wrong from jump. When you didn't answer the phone I hopped on the first plane I could find." He explained.

"I knew you felt it, I tried to get to my phone but then...yeah." I sighed.

"What happened when I was calling. Did the kidnapper do anything?" He asked.

I chuckled.

"You wouldn't believe me if I told you."  I chuckled.

"Try me." He said.

"Surprisingly, he was nice." I said.

"Nice? He kidnapped you but he was...nice?" He asked.

"Yeah, he wasn't aggressive...didn't hit me but he did use restraints when I tried to run off. I felt more safer with him than I did with Byung." I said.

"That's crazy." He chuckled.

"Yeah...I wonder what he's up to now." I mumbled.

"Who the kidnapper?" He asked.

"Yeah, he told me Byung paid him 2 million I bet he got the fuck on." I said.

"He better because I bet Byung probably singing like a damn canary." He said.

"From what the news is saying he wants a trial but that results in the death penalty." I said.

"When it does go to trial, do you want us...to accompany you?" He asked.

"I...I don't know, the trial could happen in months so who knows." I mumbled.
