Kivana Stewart
I looked out the window and sipped my tea, Seoul was so beautiful when the sun began to rise. I tapped my finger against my mug to the beat of the music and smiled, music has been helping me with a lot of emotions. It's been almost a month since Kiara's funeral and the trial began two weeks ago and it would be my first day attending.
I have to relive the most traumatic part of my life and I wasn't ready. I shook the thoughts out of my head before getting dress.
I wore my signature black sweat suit and a pair of dark shades. It was a safe outfit, I didn't look like I was asking for anything. I got into the car and let out a shaky breath.
"Come on Ki...police will be there...he will be in cuffs." I mumbled.
I took a deep breath and squeezed the steering wheel tightly. I pulled off, I did it I fucking did it.
I pulled up to the courthouse before parking my car. Paparazzi stood outside the courthouse like animals.
"Ms.Stewart?"
I looked at woman as she was followed by three others.
"What's going on?" I asked.
"My name is Stephanie and we're a private security agency. We were sent to escort you inside per request from Mr.Dominic." She said.
I nodded.
"We're going to surround now, is that ok?" She asked.
"Yes." I mumbled.
They gathered around me before we began heading into the courthouse. Paparazzi threw numerous questions out to me. Some threw insults some wanted to know if I would stand down.
I ignored them as we continued once we made it in. I noticed the person checking people in was a man...I nervously bit my lip.
"It's ok, we're right here." Stephanie reassured me.
I swallowed the lump in my throat before walking through the medal detector. I did a T pose before the guard began to check me.
I squeezed my eyes shut and sucked in my breath, trying my best to erase the images of Byung touching me out of my mind.
"I'm sorry to make you uncomfortable Ms.Stewart, you may proceed." He said.
I quickly grabbed my phone and keys before walking away. I walked upstairs and it felt like my heart was about to burst.
"Darling."
I looked up to see Simon, Kivan, Kim and Ye-Joon.
"Thank you for the security." I said.
Simon nodded.
"Are you ready?" Kivan asked.
I shook my head.
"They're going to grill the fuck out of me." I said.
"Good thing you're a lawyer." Kim smiled.
