Annaka POV
I was bleeding out quickly. 'Am I going to die? Without saying anything to Killua about how I feel.'
The phone rang. "What?" My dad spat. "Why?" he said. "Fine." He held the phone to my ear.

"H-hello," I whispered, because if I spoke normally I would feel pain all over my body.

"Annaka, how bad are you hurt," Killua asked. "We're on the way to you right now, just please stay alive."

"K-killua," I muttered. "I love you."

"Annaka, you're not going to die," he said. "I know what you're thinking. You think you're going to die so you're telling me things. Annaka you aren't going to die. I won't let that happen."

I stayed silent. "I love you too," he muttered, his voice was full of worry. I smiled.

"You can't see it, but I'm smiling," I whispered.

"I can see you," he said. "I see you smiling."

I looked up, I locked eyes with Killua, then Gon, then Kurapika, then the Chairman. They motioned me to stay silent.

"Okay, that's enough of that," my dad said, bringing the phone back up to his ear. My vision started getting blurry, but i didn't let my eyes close. I wouldn't let my dad win.

"Is this how you killed them," I asked.

"Ye-" He got cut off by the door slamming open and the Chairman knocking him out.

"That was easier than I expected," he muttered.

Killua started to undo the chains, "Hey."

"Hi," I said. I feel embarrassed for telling him I love him. but I couldn't stop thinking about how he said it back. I smiled again, "You love me?"

"Yes," he whispered. He undid the last chain and he caught me before I fell to the floor.

"Kill him," I muttered.

"What?" he asked.

"Kill him," I repeated. Nobody made a move to do so. I pushes killua away, grabbed a knife from his torture tray, and stabbed his head, making sure it went through and through. Everyone looked at me, "What? you guys weren't going to do it," I muttered. "But, you guys should probably get me to a-a hospital be-before.."

That was the last thing I said before I passed out.

Killua POV
I caught her in my arms as she passed out. I quickly put her in my arms, bridal style and ran out.

"Is anyone here a doctor?!" I yelled. "Or something?!"

Someone walked up, "A-Annaka? What happened?"

"What you didn't hear?" Killua asked. "Probably sound proof. Just help her...please."

"Lay her down," she said. I laid her down gently, her quickly getting to work. She checked her pulse, "No pulse! Starting compressions!" She said to the other one helping her.

"Do we have a crash cart here?" one yelled.

After that it was all a blur. People were yelling orders to others. I couldn't hear them. All I could hear was the ringing in my ears as I watched the work on her from a distance.

"We got a pulse!" they said, snapping me out of my trance. I sighed in relief. "Is the ambulance here?"

"They can't get through the gate!"

"Give her to me," the Chairman said. He grabbed her and before I could even see what was happening, he was gone.

I ran out of the mansion, and out of the gate. The ambulance driving away. My breathing quickened. "Do you have a car I can burrow?"
