Chapter 9

Annaka POV
When everyone awakened there was still 17 hours left to stay there.

"So what do you guys want to do," Gon asked, probably bored, I shrugged my shoulders.

"We still have 17 hours to kill," killua stated the obvious.

"I think we can see that," I mumbled.

"See you talk, but you never talk loud," leorio said.

"and?" I muttered.

"Just let her be," kurapika said to leorio. "She can speak louder when she wants to. She doesn't trust people a lot."

"That doesn't explain why she doesn't speak loud," he said.

"I just don't like talking loud," I mumbled once again. "At least I'm talking."

"True," he said.

"Anyway," Gon started. "Since we have 17 hours to kill, do you guys want to play a game?"

"Depends what game it is," I said.

"Sure," kurapika said.

"Hell yeah," Leorio said, excited.

"I guess," killua said. "What game?"

Gon thought for a second, "I don't know."

'He recommended we play a game but didn't think of a game to play, are you serious,' I thought to myself.

"How about we just ask each other questions so we get to know more about each other," kurapika suggested. "Nothing too personal though." He glanced at me then looked at the rest of them.

"Sure," Killua said.

"Boring but ok," leorio replied.

"Yea, that sounds good," gon stated. They all looked at me.

"I'll join!" Tonpa said walking up to us.

"No," everyone said at the same time. "why?"

"because i respectfully don't like you," everyone, but me said at the same time.

I spoke the same time as them but I said, "Because I disrespectfully don't like you."

That earned all of them to laugh at me, "what's so funny?"

"Did you not just hear what you said," Kurapika asked between his laughter.

"Was just being honest?" I questioned.

The laughter quieted down, while they were laughing Tonpa walked away to do his own thing.

"So who wants to start?" Gon asked.

"I will," Leorio said. "Annaka, where are you from?"

"U-uh, Dayton, Ohio, but we moved to Japan when I was 2," I stuttered because I was put on the spot without warning.

After a minute of silence, killua said, "It's your turn dummy."

"O-oh," I said, looking at all of them, my eyes landed on Gon. "Do you view your Aunt Mito as your mom?"

He nodded his head, "Yep! But I don't call her mom, she took care of me like a mom would so she's the closest thing I have to a mom. But I would never say that to her face. Kurapika, why did the Phantom Troupe attack you?"

"Uh that's a little personal," killua said.

"No it's fine, I'll answer it," kurapika said. "They wanted our eyes. The scarlet eyes. They are pretty I guess? or they wanted to sell them and get a lot of money for it. my guess is on the second option. Annaka, why'd you move from dayton to japan?"
