Recap:
Once we got back to land, an airship took us to a building. "Everyone," said the Chairman, getting everyones attention. "Someone wants to meet you guys. Said that he wanted to see the new hunters himself."

Killua POV

'someone wants to meet the new hunters? he knows the Chairman so they have to be of importance,' I thought to myself.

Then, a tall man that almost looked like Annaka appeared. I looked at her, and see her freeze. "Hello, everyone." The man smirked, looking dead at Annaka.

"Hello sir," everyone but me and Annaka replies.

"Aw Annaka don't be like that," he said walking towards her until he was about 3 feet away. "I thought you'd be more than happy to see your own father."

"Sorry to disappoint then," she said, looking up.

"And you must be killua," he said looking towards me. "Your dad told me a lot about you. Your dad told me you ran away. Stabbed your mother and brother."

"So?" I said, sassily.

"Hm, how come you didn't do that Annaka?" he asked.

"Oh please, you would've knocked me out before I even had the chance," she replied.

Her dad chuckled, "True. Okay, enough of the family reunion." He walked back to stand next to the Chairman. Annaka let out a shaky breath.

"You ok," I whispered.

"I'm fine," she replied.

"I got permission from the Chairman to do the last phase of the exam, isn't that great?" her dad said. Annaka looked up at the Chairman, the Chairman looked at her apologetically. Annaka nodded in understanding, accepting the silent apology.

"Hmm, I have to think what I want it to be though," he continued. "So how about you all just chill until I think of something."

He dismissed us all. "Annaka come here," he said. Annaka went up to him. "Follow me." And then they were out of sight.

"She going to be okay?" kurapika and gon asked simultaneously.

"I don't know," I replied still looking towards where they disappeared to. "She better be."

Annaka POV
I followed my dad, so we were out of sight of everyone. "Your mothers worried about you."

"Hm, I wouldn't think so," I replied. "You guys are more of beating than worrying." That earned me a glare.

"But she still worries." He replied.

"What about you?" I asked. "You worry?" I Continued, knowing he probably didn't.

"No," he said. "I trained you well. didn't think you'd go off and do the hunter exam, though. That was very unexpected. Why do you want to be a hunter?"

"I don't. I just heard it was supposed to be hard. Thought it'd be fun," I replied.

"And what do you think," he asked.

"Disappointed to be honest," I replied. "Or maybe I'm just used to you beating me almost to death."

Another glare, "I don't want to hurt you, you could always fight back."

"You never give me a chance!" I said.

"Yes I do," he said. "I give you many openings. Maybe you are just scared of me. scared to even hit me."

"I'm not scared of hitting you," I replied. "I'm scared of what would happen after that." I muttered.

"Follow me," he said, completely ignoring my statement. He started walking towards the chairman's room, I followed. He knocked on the door.
