chapter 23

Annaka POV
We were on the boat to go to where Gon's from. I guess we're meeting his Aunt.

"So what's your Aunt like?" I ask.

"She's kind. And very loving too!" Gon smiled brightly.

"Wait, she won't mind that I have 4 cats r-right," I ask.

"For the millionth time, no she wont," Gon laughed.

"Are you sure? She's not allergic right?" I ask again.

"Yes I'm sure and no She's not allergic," Gon replied, "I promise."

I sighed, "Okay."

"Does she know we're even coming," killua asked Gon.

"Nope! It's a surprise!" He replied excitedly.

Soon enough we were on the island and we were walking towards his house. Soon enough, we were about to arrive and Gon started running.

"Aunt Mito!!" He yelled, getting her attention.

"Gon?" I heard her say.

They hugged and that's when me and killua arrived.

"You must be killua and Annaka," she said.

"I hope you don't mind I brought my cats," I mumbled.

"No! I love cats!" She said.

I smiled slightly, "Great."

We all went inside. "Is it okay if I let them out of their cages," I ask, she nodded so I let them out. They immediately jumped on me, using that claws to stay on me. "Woah, Okay," I mumble as I sit down and allow the kittens to get on my shoulder and the grown cats on my lap.

"Why did you tell me you were coming Gon," Mito scolded. "Let alone bringing your friends with you."

"I wanted it to be a surprise," he replied. "If I told you, it wouldn't have been a surprise."

She sighed, "Is anyone hungry?"

"Yes!" Gon and killua replied.

"No I'm good," I say, looking down at my cats and petting them.

"Okay I'll go make something for you two," she says and walks away into the kitchen.

"She does seem nice," I say.

"She's the best!" gon replies.

After a little, Mito came back with their food. They had a sandwich and chips with some water.

"Thanks!" they say, and started eating. I got the cats off of me and walked up to killuas plate, taking a bit of his sandwich and a chip, and walked back to where I was sitting.

"You're welcome," killua said, rolling his eyes playfully.

I smiled, "Thank you kind sir."

He laughed and continued eating, "You want more?"

I shook my head, "No I'm good."

"You sure? You haven't eaten anything since before we left for the ship," he said.

"Yeah I'm good. I'm not hungry," I say.

"Okay," he said. I looked up at him and saw a look that basically said 'You better eat later.' I smiled at him.

"Are they dating," I heard Mito whisper to Gon, my face went hot.

"Not yet," he whispers back. "At least killua keeps saying not yet, I think they're dating in secret to be honest."
