chapter 21

Annaka POV
After a few days in the hospital, they discharged me.

"I hope i won't see you in here injured like that again," the doctor said.

I nodded, "Trust me it wasn't fun." He laughed and walked out.

I stood up, "Does this mean I can have chocorobos now?"

My friends laughed, "Yes you can."

I got my stuff together, and realized I didn't have my phone. 'I'll have to get another.'

We walked out of the hospital and I breathed in the fresh air, "I feel like I haven't been outside in like 2 years."

"More like a month or so," kurapika said.

I started walking towards a phone store.

"The airport is this way," Leorio said.

"I know," I said. "I used to live near here. I'm getting a new phone since I don't have one anymore."

He 'ohed' me and they all followed. "So how well do you know the area," he asked.

"Even though I lived here my whole life, the only time I would pass through here is on assignments," I said. "I know the area decently." We arrived at the phone store and I quickly picked one and paid. "Okay, we can go to the airport now."

We went to the airport. "I'm sorry to cut this little reunion short, but I have to get back to the books," leorio stated sadly. "I would love to stay but school calls. I've already missed almost a month."

"Nah you go, it's fine, ill be fine," I said.

"I have to get going to," kurapika said. "Be safe."

I nodded and looked at the Chairman, "Do you have to go too?"

"No, unless you want me to," he said.

I shook my head and we all got on the airship. I sighed as I sat by the window. My pain has went down to about a 5 but a normal person would be feeling a 10.

"I'm amazed on how fast you heal," Killua said.

"I don't heal that fast," I said.

"With the injuries you had, a normal person would've died immediately, or at least be feeling a lot of pain," the Chairman said.

"Well I'm not normal," I said.

"Clearly," killua stated and laughed, I smiled. "I've noticed you've been smiling more. What changed?"

'Knowing you love me,' I thought, but I said, "Knowing my dad's dead."

He smiled, "I would've did it, but you kind of caught me off guard telling me to."

"At least he's dead, and rotting in hell," I said.

"Would you want to get lunch or something when we arrive," killua asked.

"What about your training," I asked.

"He can take another day," Mr Wing said.

"Oh, okay, then I'd love to go to lunch with you," I said, smiling, not big, just a normal smile. As much I wanted to smile big I don't know if it'll even look like a big smile.

Killua smiled back, "Okay."

After a while I decided to take a small nap, just to have a relief from the pain. So I went to sleep.

Killua POV
After a while of sitting in silence, I felt something on my shoulder. I looked down and saw Annaka's head, I smiled and rested my head on hers.

"Love birds," the Chairman 'coughed'. I acted like I didn't hear. The Chairman leaned towards me to whisper in my ear, "But if you hurt her I will kill you."

"Yes sir," I said, knowing I'll never hurt her. Not in a million years. Not going to lie he low-key scared me, but I will never admit that.
