Behind the imposing mahogany desk, he stood with sharp focus, eyes locked onto the mountain of papers sprawled before him. The morning sun filtered through towering windows, casting long shadows over leather-bound folders and a sleek silver pen resting nearby. The quiet hum of the city outside faded into the background, leaving only the steady rhythm of concentration as Gemini focused on the papers in front.

With shipments doubling every now and then, the workload had become immense. Gemini had always preferred to check each and every file before they were finally signed — each contract, each clause, each term. It was a meticulous process, and often a draining one. Going through dozens of such documents and preparing them for approval consumed hours. Gemini let out a sigh as he stacked the five he had just finished. There was still plenty left to do, and considering how eventful today was going to be, he doubted he'd find time to return to them before nightfall.

Suddenly, a familiar weight pressed against his back—warm hands encircling his waist, a soft chin resting gently on his shoulder.

"I love you," whispered a voice, low and tender, brushing past his ear like a secret.

A slow smile tugged at his lips, but before he could fully savor the moment, the tone shifted—cold, sharp, and commanding.

"But if I see my donut box empty once more, and you're the reason, my lawyer will personally deliver you the signed divorce papers."

He turned sharply to meet the stern gaze of the one standing behind him—arms crossed, eyes narrowed like a hawk ready to strike.

"What?" Gemini muttered as he met that stern gaze but could feel the heat rising to his cheeks.

"My doughnut box is empty." Fourth declared, voice clipped and serious as if the fate of the world depended on it.

Gemini blinked, momentarily caught off guard, then tried to play it cool. "...So? We'll just buy new ones."

"You ate my doughnuts."

The words landed with the force of a slap, and Gemini shifted uneasily under Fourth's unrelenting stare. His usual charm seemed to evaporate in an instant.

Clearing his throat awkwardly, Gemini stepped forward with a sly smile, trying to smooth things over as he reached to wrap his arms around Fourth's waist. "No... no, baby, I didn't. Why would I?"

But Fourth was quicker, swatting Gemini's hand away like an annoyed fly buzzing too close to his face.

"So, now you're lying?" Fourth challenged, voice sharp as a knife.

"Baby?" Gemini softened, eyes wide with faux innocence. But Fourth's expression didn't soften an inch.

"ThEN WHAT THE HELL IS THIS??", Fourth grabbed, with a sudden tug, at the sleeve of Gemini's black turtleneck, pulling it down to reveal the faint dusting of white powder stubbornly clinging to the fabric's edge.

Gemini froze.

Shit

The sugar powder-

His eyes widening in mock horror, a silent scream playing across his face. The room seemed to shrink for a heartbeat.

"That's cocaine," Gemini blurted out flatly, voice carrying a bizarre mix of amusement and panic.

"...What?", Fourth's eyebrows furrowed, incredulous.

"Cocaine. White. Powder," Gemini repeated, deadpan, his tone dripping with mock-seriousness.

"Are you seriously going to admit to being a drug addict before just owning up to eating my donuts?" Fourth's voice was dry, disbelief clear in every word.
