"Good morning, P'Pond," I greeted and smiled looking at it
It's been 2 years since P'Pond passed away, and today is his death anniversary, that's why today is an important day for me every year.
We've been together for almost 29 years now. After his brain surgery, P'Pond has been living a healthy and stable life. Although, we know that GBM survival time is 12 - 18 months, only 5% of patients survive more than five years. But P'Pond has beaten all that prejudice that he would never live longer than 1 year, yet he proved them wrong.
After graduating from University, P'Pond proposed to me, and we got married. He even became a doctor, a Pediatric Neurologist to be exact. We live a happy life, although there's fighting here and there but that is normal for married couples. However, 3 years ago, his health rapidly declined. That was the most devastating time for me. I was depressed for almost a year, if it were not for our sons and families, I would probably have given up and succumbed to my depression.
Yes, we have 3 sons. As technology develops, we can easily have a child of our own. Our 3 sons are our light, the bundle of our happiness. Now, I need to be strong for them and I know P'Pond is looking up for us from up there. Everyone also supported me and was always there for us.
"Papa, is this okay?"
I look back and see my youngest son, my little Phum, walking towards me with his tiny step while trying to button his shirt. He's the cutest. I smile and approach him.
"Aww...Phum, you wake up already?" I said squat to match his tiny body
"Today, Phum will meet Daddy so Phum wakes up early and is ready," Phum said still fussing about his button
I chuckle and pat his head, "My baby is smart; good job, na, Phum," I said, and Phum responded with a giggle.
Oh God, he's so cute. What an angel.
"Phum, where's your brother? Are they still sleeping?" I ask
Phum blinked, "Phum don't know, but Phum thinks Hia Mork is awake," Phum answered
Hmm...so, Palm is still asleep. As usual, the twins are different. Reminds me of myself and Gemini.
As I explained, P'Pond and I have 3 sons. Mork and Palm are twins, they are 7 years old. While Phum is the youngest and he's 4. They're my treasure. Although raising them can be very out of hand, even so, I'm happy to have them. The funny thing is that they resemble P'Ponds more than I do, it's like seeing 3 mini P'Ponds.
