After the incident at the Harunos Kakashi sent Naruko and Sasuke home. Naruko noticed Kakashi had a look of fury, and she wondered if he was furious over Sakura's passing or her mother attacking her. Naruko thought over what she would do if Kakashi starts looking into Sakura's death, she will stick to her plan. Play the victim, tell Kakashi about Sakura's attempt at poisoning her and Sasuke's near death, and if Kakashi still doubted her....
She might use the mating mark to her advantage. Though she will ask Kurama more about the mark, but that's for another time.
Naruko looked over at Sasuke, who was rubbing and scratching his mark. Naruko took his hand and lowered it, the boy looked at her in confusion before he felt relief when she started gently scratching his mark, even massaging it.
She looked at the mating mark, the spiral had grown bigger. "So, don't you think it's about time you tell me what this thing on my neck is?" Sasuke brings up as they stand outside their house.
Naruko hesitated. What would Sasuke's reaction be if he finds out she marked him as hers? That the mark was basically a wedding ring? "Don't fret kit, he'll be over the moon" Kurama whispered in her mind. "Right, well um, let's head inside first" Naruko said walking past Sasuke.
Sasuke and her went to the living room and sat opposite each other. Sasuke looked at Naruko expectantly, there was impatience in his eyes and Naruko can tell he was holding himself back from jumping her for answers. Naruko sighed. "Sasuke, you know how the village treated me as a freak, and a monster before right? When I was Naruto everybody hated me. I was ostracized and basically a walking pariah"
Sasuke nodded, looking uncomfortable. "It wasn't right, how they treated you"
"Not like they still don't treat me like I'm some sort of devil anyway, the only difference is that now that I'm a female I'm lusted after and get hit on now" she said frowning. "Anyway, the reason is that....well....what I'm about to tell you is a village secret, so you have to promise me you'll keep this to yourself, alright?" She said with a dead serious expression.
"Hn" Sasuke grunted.
Naruto sighed and lifted her shirt, showing her flat stomach to Sasuke. Sasuke blushed and was about to look away, but Naruto called his name to make sure he was keeping his eyes on her. To Sasuke's bewilderment, black ink seemed to appear on Naruko's skin, forming a spiral around her stomach.
"It's about the Kyuubi" Naruko confessed. "He gives me advice and tells me valuable information about certain...things. The day I bit you, he told me to do that. To claim you as mine" she hesitated before continuing.
"The black spiral on your neck is a symbol of you and I belonging together, as mates. It's a mating mark, you could also call it in human terms as a wedding ring" Naruko blushed and felt embarrassed when she said the words 'wedding ring'
"You can mercilessly kill, shamelessly flirt with your teacher, and fantasize about getting pregnant, and yet you blush at telling the Uchiha that the mark is like a wedding ring?" Kurama snorted in her mind.
"So...." Sasuke began with a serious face. "You're like, my wife?" He asked. "Wife, mate, yes" Naruko responded smiling a small smile. Sasuke continued to stare at her, before shrugging and relaxing against the sofa chair. "That's a relief then. That means I don't have to hold myself back from being jealous when you're acting too close with Kakashi" Sasuke said, before glaring at her. "Speaking of which, I DON'T like how you cling onto that man, he's a pervert, who knows what runs through his mind whenever you're jumping on him"
Naruko just laughs, causing Sasuke to glare harder. "Don't laugh! I'm serious!"
"Sorry sorry!" Naruko said trying to stop laughing. "Is there anything else you want to tell me?" Sasuke asked. "I'm in heat" Naruto awkwardly revealed. "It started a few days ago...I'm assuming you know what heat means?"
"Of course I do" Sasuke snapped. " It means 'In a state of sexual excitement immediately preceding ovulation'. In other words, this indicates the period when the animal is fertile and most receptive to mating" he looked at Naruko questioningly. "But you're human, how does--"
"Remember what I told you about the Kyuubi?, Kurama, is the reason why I go through heat every six months. I recently just found out about this during the Chunin exams when I met Gaara" oh dear, must she also tell Sasuke she left to go to the sand to mate with Gaara? Will he be angry?
"Er...Sasuke...remember in my letter? I said I left to go to Suna because I had something really important to do there-"
"You went to mate with Gaara" Sasuke hissed. Naruko shrunk in her seat. "Ah, you figured that out?"
Sasuke was angry. At Naruko for choosing Gaara, and at Gaara for touching Naruko in such a way. He was angry, jealous, and felt possessive. He found himself scratching the mating mark again.
"You told me you're in heat, and then the letter said you were going to Suna, you also said you found out about your heat during the Chuunin exams when you met Gaara, it's not rocket science" Sasuke responded.
Naruko squeezed her thighs together. "And...how do you feel?"
"I'm obviously angry" Sasuke admits. "But you're home now...but I doubt your heat is over yet. Who's your new partner if not Gaara?" Sasuke demanded, Sharingan activating momentarily. He was REALLY angry. "Forget it, I don't wanna know, just tell me if you're bringing them home so I can leave for the night!"
With that he stormed to his bedroom and didn't come out for the rest of the evening.
Naruko sighed. "Well that went well. Don't beat yourself up, he'll get over it. The brat's mostly just frustrated and angry because he wasn't the one you turned to when you first entered heat. He's jealous of the red head, and...if you had told him you're also screwing your team leader-"
"He would have blown a fuse" Naruko thought. "How do I soothe him?"
"Well if you were to lay in bed with him, naked, he'd instantly forget his anger and forgive you for-"
"NO you pervert! And I doubt Sasuke would fall for that!"
The Kyuubi howled with laughter. "The brat's angry you chose the red head as a mating partner over him, don't be dense Naruko"
Growling Naruko left the house and went to the back garden. Suddenly she felt a presence behind her, but she didn't worry. She recognized who it was immediately.
"Itachi" she acknowledged
"Naruko, it's been some time" Itachi said. Naruko smiled back at Itachi, when suddenly she felt an intense heat in her lower regions. "Shit why now?" She bites her lower lip and rubs her navel as she began to sweat. Itachi approached her worriedly and placed a comforting hand around her. "Naruko are you ok?" He asked.
Naruko pressed herself against his chest and rubbed herself against him. "H-help...me Itachi" she asked breathlessly.
A/n: Do you guys think Sasuke was being jealous or possessive or Naruto? Also what do you think his reaction would be when he finds out he's not her only mate
