She has two weeks to mark Neji as her mate before she leaves for her training with Jiraiya. Shouldn't be too hard, he already likes her. All she has to do is solidify that. He seems interested enough about her.
She asked Hinata if she can come over for tea again, which the Hyuuya heiress was eager to comply. She took the blonde to her compound, chatting amicably along the way.
Naruko brought up Neji. "Neji-nii? Oh, he's training" she responded. "where?" Naruko asked.
Hinata pointed at the training grounds where the boy was practicing taijutsu

Naruko smiled and called out Neji's name, waving a hand. "Neji! Hey!" She calls. The Hyuuga stops and turns to face them, he looked tired, like he's been training for hours, but the tiredness disappeared when he saw the blonde girl beside his cousin.
He waved at the blonde, smiling back at her. Naruko and Hinata began making their way towards him, the Hyuuga boy went towards a tree and rested under it, his back against it.
"Hello, Naruko. I didn't know you'd be dropping by" He said looking up at her. Naruko sat in front of him, keeping her smile and trying not to blush. She's been blushing a lot when it comes to Neji lately.
"I just had this sudden urge to see you" She said with a laugh. When she saw Neji's eyes widened she corrected herself panicking "You and Hinata! I meant I wanted to see, and hang out, with you AND Hinata!"
"Really?" Neji smirked teasingly causing Naruko to blush hotly. So much for trying to play it cool

"O-ok fine, you were really my main reason for coming here" she admitted. Damn it since when was she a bad liar? She's been lying with a straight face for months! And now when it comes to Neji she bumbles her words?
Hinata looked between Naruko and Neji before smiling knowingly. She giggled behind her hand before excusing herself, saying she will make them tea and that they can drink tea together outside. Neji wanted to do it but Hinata stubbornly insisted she'll do it herself.
