Taylor Swift is the 19 year old pop superstar that rocketed to fame with the success of her debut single Love Story and the recent victim of a near fatal stabbing but other than those two facts what do we actually know about the teenage girl that has taken the charts by storm?
Well did you know that whilst she and her father live in a house in the Hollywood hills valued at close to 10 million dollars her mother and brother struggle to make ends meet?
Recently our reporter travelled to the Swifts home town and found Taylors mother working on a market stall, selling hand knitted items whilst her son begged for change close by.
On approaching 50 year old Andrea Swift she refused to confirm she was the mother of Taylor but other locals were quick to tell us how Taylor and Scott left to find fame and never looked back, forgetting about both Andrea and Taylors older brother Austin.
We reached out to both Taylor and Scott Swift but neither were available for comment.
Taylor is thought to be staying with a friend whilst she continues to recover from her injuries as her father masterminds her apparently unstoppable rise to chart dominance
