Sitting directly in front of them was a long metallic bridge stretching across for what felt like miles. "We have to walk across this entire thing for our big surprise?!" Roxy exclaimed, nearly fainting. "Woah, easy there!" Ryu exclaimed, attempting to catch her before-
"Ive got this." Dora spoke up, taking ahold of Roxy gently and helping her back up. "Try to be more careful next time." Neku decided to be the one to walk forward, turning to the others. "See? Not all seems bad." He spoke, continuing to walk before slamming into an- invisible barrier?
"WHAT THE FUCK?!" Neku shouted, muffled from the impact of him hitting this new wall as small amounts of blood leaked from his nose.
"Neku! Are you ok?!" Haru asked concerned, as Monokitty appeared, wearing what looked like a construction outfit and a face of pure annoyance.
"And just what do you buffoons think youre doing?!" She asked angrily, as Aaron stared in confusion. "Seeing this- new surprise you apparently have for us?" Monokitty groaned. "Its taking me some damn time to finish up! Constructions not as easy as you think!"
"Makes me wonder what the hells so special, youre taking your damn time." Evelyn rolled her eyes. "Probably nothing remotely useful or capable of letting us go, I assume."
"Well now thats just rude! Especially after all Im doing for you all!" Monokitty made a pitiful sad face, as Evelyn taunted. "Oh, what? Gonna cry?"
"No, im simply gonna plot 1000 more ways to make your execution specifically as traumatizing and painful as possible!" Monokitty said gleefully.
"Evelyn, dont taunt the damn thing." Milo directly spoke, as Evelyn groaned. "Strip away my fun, why dont you."
"M-Ms Hawley, its not my place to speak but." Ichigo stuttered. "Taunting her could eventually lead to disaster. So- for the rest of us. As- politely as I can ask. Can you remain quiet, as to not get us all punished?"
Before Evelyn could speak, Monodog arrived panting for air in the process. "It- its done. Monokitty. You can- let go of the barrier now. No?"
"Hmmmmmmm, I couldddd....But-" Monokitty teased as Dennis angrily spoke. "Will you just get on with the damn presentation please?!"
He cleared his throat. "Apologies, but I do believe I speak on behalf of everyone here, no?" The rest of the group seemingly agreeing, as they began making their way across the bridge.
Feeling the weight underneath them begin to fall in some spots, Neku spoke up. "Uhm, is it just me? Or- Is this Bridge kinda..Faulty in some areas?"
"...Were not about to fall off this bridge and sink to our deaths in the ocean, are we?" Nick asked, wide eyed and nervously sweating. "I may be risky, but I am not swimming with the damn sharks! No thank you!"
"Kid, be realistic. Dying by Sharks is far from the worst way you can die, especially out in the Ocean." Milo assured. "Lets not forget the supposed things lingering at the bottom?"
"...You mean the many sea creatures man doesnt know entirely of, as discoveries are made everyday?" Ayumu asked nervously. "Its- stated in many books Ive read in my spare time."
"Lets not consider that right now." Dora said directly, as Roxy stared in confusion before her eyes widened. "What eldritch horrors have you seen in the depths below, Madame?! I WANNA SEE FIRSTHAND NOW!!" She shouted, beginning to grab the rails and attempt to climb over.
"AH- Lets not." Dora suddenly lunged forward, grabbing Roxy and pulling her in. Roxy frowned and pouted. "But what about all the potential spiders at the bottom of the ocean?! ...If those could even exist. Oooo! Spider Crabs though! I WANNA HUNT FOR SPIDER CRABS AND STUDY THEM!"
