Trey and I head back downstairs with our fingers entwined. His large hand wraps around my smaller ones. It's the first time we're holding hands and it feels like the most natural thing in the world. When we hit the bottom step we run into his mom whose eyes immediately shoots down at our entwined fingers before she looks up at us surprised.

"What is this?" She looks pointedly at her son.

He chuckles at the childlike happiness in his mother's tone before saying,  "Don't get too excited momma. We're just seeing where this goes." Trey explains.

"I know where it's gonna go and I couldn't have picked a better woman for you myself." She says, casting her warm smile over to me.

"But lord knows you've tried multiple times." Trey says. Miss April was known for trying to set up her sons.

Miss April scolds her son playfully before she smiles again. "Come on boy, you got all these people here to see you. Let's not keep them waiting." She walks off towards the backyard and we follow after her.

For the rest of the evening Trey is surrounded my family members and family friends, all of them trying to spend as much time as they can with him. I watched as he danced with his grandma and mom and play with his younger cousins. I found Alex in the mist of everyone and he winked at me, his silent approval of squashing things like he wanted. Music continued to play and laughter continued to ring out following into the night until slowly everyone started to go home, hugging Trey and wishing him good luck on tour and to promise to keep in touch while on the road as much as he could. Trey saved his mom and grandma for last, hugging them tightly multiple times until finally we said good-bye and headed for his car.

"Looks like Alex might have a permanent roommate now that you're leaving." I say as Trey pulls away from his mom's house.

"What do you mean?"

"I moved out of Dmitri's place this morning," I explained. "I'm hoping Alex will let me stay with him until I can afford a place of my own."

"You're not staying with my brother." Trey states adamantly.

"Why not?" I turn my head to look at him.

"Because you're coming on tour with me."

"I am?"

"Yeah," Trey reaches over with one hand and threads his fingers through mine. "We can take this slow." He promises me. "I'm just not ready to let you leave my side yet."

"I'm not ready to leave yet either." I smile shyly when Trey grins at me then kisses my knuckles before he focuses his attention on the road.

Twenty minutes later we arrive at Alex place so Trey can pack his bagsr then we were headed back to the hotel.

I'm sitting on Trey's bed watching him pack when all of a sudden there's a knock on the door. I turn my head to see Alex standing in the doorway.

"Hey." I smile brightly. If it wasn't for him telling me to work things out with Trey I wasn't sure if we would be where we're at right now.

He takes a step further into the room. "You ready to go man?" Alex asks Trey.

"Pretty much." Trey zips up his suitcase.

"Two weeks flew by."

"For real. But you'll see me again soon. You know anytime you want to come see me bro all you gotta do is ask." Trey tells him.

"Yeah I know. Be good man." Then the two of them hug.

Alex finally turns to me. "I'm guessing you going to?"

I nod my head. "I have nothing holding me here."

"Ouch," he clutches at his heart like he was in pain. "Glad to hear how you feel about me and Aiden."

"I didn't mean it like that!" I gasp.

"I know." Alex chuckles. "I'm gonna miss you baby girl." He takes my hand and make me stand up.

"I'm gonna miss you too Alex. And Aiden. I don't know how long I can last without seeing his chubby little face." I giggle.

"Then stay."

I glance behind Alex to Trey. It was completely crazy to just go on tour with Trey when we barely knew each other, but this is what i want. I want to explore whatever this is that's forming between the two of us amd going on tour would give us that opportunity... I don't plan on missing it.

"I can't."

Alex sighs softly. "This is what you want?" I nod my head. "He's who you want?"
I glance at Trey whos watching us closely.

"Yes." I answer positively.

"Then okay. You know all I care about is your happiness baby girl."

Unable to help myself, I throw myself at him and Alex immediately wraps his arms around my waist.

"I promise you Alex, you're gonna find someone who is 100 times better than me and the next time you see me you're ask yourself what the hell you were thinking." I giggle.

"I doubt I'll find someone like you Amina. You're special." Alex squeezes me for a few seconds before he lets me go. "Take care of her bro." Alex orders Trey before he leans over and kisses my forehead then silently walks out.

I shyly walk up to Trey who was staring out the door long after Alex left. I reach out and take his hand and he finally meets my gaze. I can see the questions whirling around in his eyes, the concern shining brightly through. He opens his mouth to ask his questions but before be can get a word out I stand on my tippy toes and press my lips softly to his.

"You have nothing to worry about."
