Hi! So originally before this book I was going to write a Logan ff in the same series as this one but I ended up scrapping it because I didn't think it would be too in demand. However, I do love the idea of writing Eva and Logan's relationship in depth so lmk if that's something you guys would also enjoy! Thanks!

THURSDAY, Lando found himself in Japan for media day after the week long break they were granted. He was walking into the paddock with a very energetic Savannah and a very tired looking Oscar.

"Vannah, since when we're you a morning person?" He asked the blonde with a quirked brow. "She's not, she had three shots of espresso. By themselves." He said passively, zero expression in his face or voice.

She nods rapidly. "And this has three more shots." Holding up her half drank iced coffee, she shook it, the ice rattling on the plastic walls of the cup.

Oscar took the drink to stop the rattling, then took a big gulp of the tan liquid. "Dude." Savannah complained. "You have endless energy drinks. This is all I got." She looked at the drink, the curve of her lips wilting to a frown.

Looking up, Savannah caught the eyes of someone who caused her frown to deepen. A nasty grin formed on the other person's face, causing Savannah to want to throw up and take a knife to his neck at the same time.

Catching sight of the exchange, Oscars hand slid comfortingly into Savannah's. Lacing their fingers, he gave her hand a warm squeeze.

Lando watched the two, his eyes following Savannah's to see Tristan standing at the other end. It was an unusual scene to be a bystander in. A tension floated through the air, one Lando couldn't place the cause of. Something happened that he wasn't aware of.

He waited until they were tucked safely into the quiet motorhome of McLaren to ask them about it.

"What was that about?"

"What?" Savannah inquired. He knew that tone. She was playing dumb.

"With Tristan. What just happened there?"

Her eyes scan the room. Weather it was to look out for prying ears or to avoid his eyes, Lando was unsure.

"It happened in Vegas." She paused. "I was going on a paddock walk, like I usually do. And he stopped me, started flirting with me, then told me I could do better than Oscar."

"Then again at the banquet. He only winked at me from across the room that time."

Lando's face twisted, looking like he'd just ate something too sour and too gross at the same time. He wasn't a fan on Tristan, and not just cause he thought Cassie was pretty. The first time they met, Lando was greeted with glares and cold tones from the American. "Does Cassie know?"
