As the evening rolled in and the sun began to set in the Red moon pack. The backyard of the alpha house lit up with traditional lanterns and candles .

Felix was in his room with Chan next to him watching as the younger paced around clad in formal attire . Chan too was nervous though not showing it outside. The alpha necklace with Lee family's crust clutched tight in his palms. In the absence of their father . Chan was entrusted with the duty of  declaring Felix as the next alpha leader and pass the family necklace on to him as chan was the one in charge of the packs administration though under his father's name.

Fel: hyung I'm nervous. Like really nervous.

Chn: I know lix. But I have trust in you. You will get through this and will be a good alpha adored by your subjects  just like dad was .

Fel: do you really think so ?

Chn: I know so.

Fel: thanks hyung.

Chn: your welcome. Just know me, Minho , Hyunjin ,  mom and everyone else believes in you ok.

Fel: ok...

A few minutes after Chan's mini pep talk with Felix a knock was heard on Felix's bedroom door as Hyunjin came to inform them it was time.

Felix walked out hand in hand with his hyung greeting Hyunjin in the process before Minho gave him a tight hug.

Lk: we are all here for you hyung.

Minho's words lifted Felix's mood up much for than Minho or anyone else could imagine. He was happy to know despite not feeling like doing anything Minho still made an effort to be there for him. The two youngers quickly shared a tight hug before chan brought him to the back yard where everyone else was waiting.

Bangchan brought Felix over to the ceremonial platform where the elders were already waiting. Once the two younger alphas were also at the platform the elders began the ceremony. Seeking the blessings of the moon goddess as they began.

Felix was asked to recite his oath which he did without missing a word.

Eld: now seeing you are still without a mate
You , Lee Felix, future alpha of Red moon is required to place a claim on a omega you wish to court and in the future make your mate.

Fel: I Lee Felix of Red moon wishes to court Choi Soobin of Silver night.

The elders were visibly displeased at Felix's words as he asked for courtship instead of placing a claim. But though displeased they didn't voice out the displeasure and carried on .

Eld: Is omega Choi Soobin present in this event?

Sb: yes. Respect elder.

Soobin came forward from the crowd .

Eld: Omega Soobin. The future alpha has stated his interest.

Sb: I considers it my greatest honour. And I'm happy to accept the alpha's courtship.

Eld: Good. Now Alpha Bang....

Chan took a deep breath before he spoke up a confident aura emitting from him as he spoke each word.

Chn: By the power and positive entrusted in me by the late alpha Lee. I pronounce Lee Felix. The new Alpha leader of Red moon.

Chan finally took the traditional neck piece he was holding and placed it in Felix's neck.
