Autumn was packing up her things. Marjorie was still on the phone with Reece.

When she heard quick footsteps, she could see Sorscha running past the office from the open door.

Autumn raised her eyebrow sceptically. Not a second later, Winter also walked past with quick steps.

This made Autumn even more sceptical. She leant out of the door and looked after the two of them.

Sorscha pushed open the break room door. She threw her glasses on the table and rubbed her face.

Her heart was beating in her throat.

She had to calm down. Breathe. Just breathe. She tried to tell herself.

Her hands were shaking so badly, she gripped the edge of the table to keep them still.

Why now, my God calm down!

The noises around her disappeared and were replaced by a loud beeping sound.

Sorscha felt like she couldn't breathe. She squinted her eyes shut and tried to concentrate on her breathing.

An image suddenly flashed before her inner eye. Derek.

The way he stood over her. The way he hit her again and again.

She thought she heard her wife's desperate cries, telling him to stop.

No! He's dead!

You're safe!

Your family is safe!

A hand placed itself on her shoulder.

He's here....

She turned round and struck.

Her fist hit something. A bang could be heard.

Sorscha now realised that someone was lying in front of her.

The person lying on his side, looked up at her.

It's him.

Sorscha wanted to strike again.

When she were suddenly grabbed and pulled to the ground.

It was over now. Sorscha was now completely in survival mode.

She lashed out. But the person holding her was stronger.

She was turned onto her stomach. Her hands were held behind her back.

The car came to a halt with a screech. Clodagh got out and ran towards the nursery. Marjorie was already waiting for her at the door.

"What happened?!"

" I don't know exactly. But something triggered Sorscha."

" Oh no... Is someone hurt?! Is everyone all right?!"

Marjorie's look told her everything.

The two of them walked quickly along the corridor towards the break room.

Halfway down the corridor, Clodagh saw Winter and Charlotte.

Winter was sitting on the floor, leaning against the wall. He was holding a cold pack against his cheek. Charlotte knelt in front of him.

Clodagh's heart sank.

Marjorie stopped outside the break room. " You should go in.....alone..."

Clodagh nodded and carefully opened the door.

She immediately caught sight of Autumn. She was standing in front of the table in the room.

Sorscha was sitting at the table. Her hands were still shaking. Her gaze fixed on the tabletop.
